After a year, Spider-Man 2 now, more than ever, deserves to be looked at critically and charitably.
Spider-Man 2 Critique | Should Be Greater is now out on YouTube, with a runtime of 83 minutes.

It’s cause Twitter is unable to grapple with a game being great with flaws or even bad with good aspects
On this website your game is either a 0/10 or a 10/10. No in between, nuance, or non sensationalised take is allowed
The replies are already brutal so I’m just gonna say, no matter what you believe, vote with your wallet.
Arguing with random people on twitter is not the best use of your time. Live life, make friends, and make peace.
Twitter is made to waste your life and time. Don't let it.
It pisses me off so much that Insomniac has made some of the best Spidey games we've ever had and yet they get:
- death threats
- layoffs
- massive fan backlash
- hacks
- leaks
They genuinely cannot win
It's really weird to me how Twitter turned on Marvel's Spider-Man 2. I remember when it came out and there were a couple things I didn't like. Anytime I mentioned it I got dog piled. Now every other post is basically how much somebody hates every detail of the game. Don't get it.
No science to back this up but; I think a lot of this comes from anger.
The more hatred you have within you, the worse you look, physically. Sounds cliche but it’s real as hell
Being so hateful genuinely eats you alive
@IFinishedAGame
Either frustration in knowing that this will be the only symbiote spidey game for the next decade and it was low key botched, or speaking in extremes gets more views
At the end of the day, Conroy signed up for SS. He must have believed in the project, and if he didn’t, he could have not taken the role.
He has no say in people using his death as a means of deriding a game.
Let the man rest. This is genuinely disgusting behaviour.
A lot of fans are hopping mad about Batman's role in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and rightly so. Here's why Kevin Conroy's Batman is wasted in the game.
My interest in Black Myth: Wukong immediately stopped after it started being about a disingenuous culture war and stopped being about the cool monkey game
EVERY HORIZON PROJECT THAT’S IN DEVELOPMENT
-LEGO Horizon Adventures
-Horizon Zero Dawn Remake
-Horizon MP Game
-Horizon MMO
-Horizon Netflix Series
-Horizon 3
Which one are you most excited for? And is this too much Horizon?
This vent (left) is the only circular vent in the entire Batman Arkham series. Every other vent (right) is square.
I don’t know why this one specific vent is round, but it confuses me to no end.
Where I stand:
#HoldUbisoftAccountable
In the summer of 2020, there were multiple accusations of sexual assault against Ubisoft executives and employees. I had heard about this, but upon also hearing that their team was working on it, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. (1/9)
Replies to this are giving me grey hairs.
"Assassin's don't need magic"
Gentlemen, may I present to you the MAGIC object that was at the center of like, half the series:
So Assassin's Creed Hexe is a sort of linear story game with major horror elements focused on an Assassin Witch who can do spells and terrify her enemies.
Ubisoft are cooking something unique here that we've never seen from them, this game is gonna be something so different.
I'm ready to quit. This is unacceptable. You jump into a full body of water, and there's no precipitation on Cloud. Wow, bone dry. It's PS5 only. It's 2024. SMH.

Far Cry has been slowly turning into a first-person Just Cause with each iteration, and I'm here for it.
Not here for a company that doesn't take allegations seriously.
#HoldUbisoftAccountable
Won't purchase unless allegations are properly addressed.
As I turn 24 (fuck me) I find myself, like most days, being insanely grateful for the support you’ve all shown me.
You give me the privilege to engage with what makes me happy every day, and I can’t thank you all enough 🙏
Here’s to another year of bad opinions 🍻
Maybe cancel culture really did ruin comedy because now every comedian prefaces their shows with 20 minutes of “you can’t tell jokes anymore!”
It’s deluded their minds into thinking that a creepy uncle joke isn’t scraping the bottom of the barrel.
The more I learn about this game the more I think the third act was meant to be SM3 and Sony forced them to merge it with the original story of SM2.
Kinda like what happened with Gravity Rush 2 except Sony hated that game lol
Nothing feels better than seeing all those people saying I was just bad at swinging for calling it slow suddenly switching up now that the swinging is faster
We’re seeing an unfinished product, a build that is likely old, and the reaction is saying it looks bad. No shit it looks bad. It’s unfinished.
No more excitement, anticipating a release, or speculating.
Please Don’t Reboot Uncharted.
The series can easily go on without Nathan Drake and this video analyses Lost Legacy to see what the future of the series could look like with Nathan retired.

My sentiment was that people should allow others to like the game. Never said they should buy it throughout the 16,000 words spoken. Also specifically put marketing at fault. Not gamers.
You’re upset at words that weren’t said and sentiments that weren’t shared.
Comments like this confuse the hell out of me.
Like, games like Spider-Man have challenges and boss fights that exclusively test the players skill, do they not?
I believe it's because on paper, it does what every other open world does in terms of side quests.
But I've never encountered a world as beautiful as Tsushima. None have ever been as tranquil.
No hate, just a question of understanding, where does your fascination with Ghost of Tsushima come from? I mean, visually and gameplay-wise, it's great, no question about it, but in terms of the open game world, it's basically like any other open world game for me! 😊
