It took some tough 2 days of negotiating but we are in escrow $5,200 above my original offer but still 62% below asking. Built in 1907 it's 3 bed 2 bath, 1800sf with stuff in the attic and a detached barn garage full of stuff on 1/2 acre and on a well.

The last thing I need is another property project but damn it if a 3 story Italianate style built in 1865 didn't come on the market. At over 5,000sf it has a music room, library and a carriage house. It's a renovation job. I'm going to see it next week. I'll post pics.

1 year ago today my world was shook and my mother passed away. It still feels surreal. Now I understand why they invented the concept of heaven. The idea of never seeing her again is devastating. I would rather believe in the possibility that carries me through to my own end.
