While this isn't representative of every Cast Member, I now know of a Cast Member who put in their 2 weeks because of the Disney Aspire news.
Disney won't help them finish their degree, but Universal will. They have an interview for the same role, down the street, next week.
The amount of broken LED lights in the new areas of Epcot is almost funny at this point.
Disneyland has a half red and half white bulb to blend in. Epcot has an epileptic’s nightmare in a multi-million dollar park improvement area.
Things break, I get it. But this is months
Please, someone please tell me I am missing something.
We went from an engineering marvel, to a cut back beer garden with a Figment museum, to a hallways with rainbow lights.
I am honestly blown away at this, and I feel so bad for Imagineers that I know had to fight and fight
I just showed up 7.5 hours late to my Cosmic Rewind Virtual Queue time.
Cast Member, “Oh wow, you are really late.”
Me, “Yeah, I know.”
Cast Member laughs and says “it’s fine we don’t care.”
And then I kept walking in the queue until almost the 3rd room. Unless something goes
The Streetcraft account on TikTok did a great overview of the

roadways and elevated traffic circle for those going to and from Epic.
A guest at the Magic Kingdom just pointed to Jack Sparrow and said, “Wow, you can meet Jesus here?” 🙃
The character attendant said, “Uh, no. Wrong J name there.”
Hundreds of Cast Members, myself included, are here to say goodbye to the Magic Kingdom and Walt Disney World for the time being. But, this is also a celebration of the thousands of Disney College Program participants who had their program ended suddenly this weekend. We ❤️ you!
It has been 271 days since I was put on furlough. I can happily say I, for the first time in months, will be a working Cast Member on Monday.
I’m being temporarily displaced to Winnie the Pooh and Tea Cups at the Magic Kingdom until entertainment can take me back.
I’m so glad a friend grabbed this moment with Princess Isabella and myself at the Magic Kingdom. I take autograph books in each day to get signatures from traveling princesses and knights. It’s amazing to watch their faces light up when you ask them to sign.

I think she is pretty close actually. When it comes to the parks, we see translations, like with face characters or even Mickey Mouse. This is a slightly older Tiana, but with the audio, moments and scenery, she should fit right in.
I just rode the new Star Tours missions.
For this “old” of a ride, it continually offers a ton of fun and isn’t afraid to be goofy. I wish Smuggler’s Run could do missions like this.
Seeing classic and new characters, and getting a different story each time just feels extra
Social distancing and masks were done right tonight at

for Universal’s Cinematic Celebration. We were walked to a specifically marked area for the show. During the show, team members walked around to ensure everyone stayed put and wore masks correctly.
It might just be new to me, but today is the first time I have seen water flowing in the Rise of the Resistance queue at

Hey,
@UniversalORL
, please never stop with these Tribute Stores. They are amazing, every single time. The detail, the food, the merch, all amazing. One of the best things you have done consistently in recent years.
The Shell Shock Spinner has become an internet icon for their genuine happiness and ride dedication.
Since a similar ride is opening at Universal Epic Universe, I would love to see

I wish I could have read this article. There were 7 ads, all blocking sections of the content. I went to scroll down and the second portion of the article was apparently hidden with a “learn more” button somewhere. But after trying and instead loading up an ad, I left the site.
This is why we can’t have nice things. I don’t know of a solution, there probably isn’t one, to get guests to stop damaging walls like this.
Seeing all the paint on the floor, I have to assume a majority of this happened day of (taken last night at 8:30 pm)

Even as part of our media event (which I won’t lie, was offered entirely for free) they didn’t get our photos from the photo experience. We asked and asked and they said they lost them.
We didn’t lose money, but we never got the photos from a photo shoot we really enjoyed. And
In a surprise move,
@UniversalORL
is not having guests use lockers for medium/small bags on Forbidden Journey. You instead are told to put your bag to the side for this ride and hold on to loose articles.
Just renewed my

annual pass, and was given a 20% discount to due so. Less than $340 a year for unlimited 2-park admission and free parking. Thank you Universal.
Wow! Hollywood Studios is going all out for their Cast Members today. Free Magic Bands and Galaxy’s Edge merchandise along with photo ops and a party Hummer jamming out music!

Love the smell of the Avatar Flight of Passage attraction? Coastal Linen, a
@Target
exclusive, is pretty much the exact smell and I highly recommend giving it a good sniff.
That being said, (and I can’t find the original post) but shoutout to those unnamed maintenance Cast Members who have been fixing all the old effects.
They are fixing stuff that is so old that some people think they are new additions.
I wish all park leadership would have the
Now, I do like the new character area! Pretty backdrops, good lighting and of course, characters in the AC. They are fun and this space is nice (but I am still upset we didn’t get this in the Play Pavilion)
On just the few streams I found, there are over 20,000 people on TikTok watching the last few rides of

I got lucky and found Imagineers testing on the ride earlier this week:
Tonight was surreal. I had a closing shift at Flight of Passage and got to walk through Pandora, completely empty, all by myself. I wish it was possible for it to always be that quiet. I heard animal calls, the rushing water, the wind in the mountains. Incredible.
Real quotes of guests at Flight of Passage (a thread):
7 year old boy as I check his restraints: oh is this when the nipple massagers begin?
Me: Your seat does vibrate when you connect to your avatar, buddy.
Boy: Oh good, I like my nipples.
Moments like this are why I love being a Cast Member. The autograph book I used was actually my old one from when I first visited. I never filled it with characters so I decided to fill it with memories made with our guests.

But, the “finale” the CommuniCore Hall. Seriously…
No wall artwork, flags of previously built out centers. Closed up windows on DAY 1!? Copy and paste tables and some simple lounge chairs.
This space is 100% designed to be rented for weddings or company events. This isn’t for
The iPhone is amazing at photography. A glass rectangle in my pocket was opened and snapping these shots within 4 seconds of being out of my pocket.
They are easily edited, high enough quality to print big and I can take thousands of them on even the base phone.

Started today off by meeting the mailman of Walt Disney World. He was taking letters from the America Pavilion guest mailbox. He drives park to park making sure the guests letters get to an official mail delivery location. Such a nice man!

The new Encanto show is a good addition. Not necessarily for me, but I’m 27. I can see the true benefit for kids and families.
Dance parties are ALWAYS a good idea and young park goers seemed to really enjoy it. I think this concert space (if done well) can also be used for a

Virtual Queue works great for me, a Passholder. But it is bad overall. Guests can't always ride, you can't ride again without paying or getting lucky on timing.
People feel they have to come at certain times. Others feel discouraged with the system. Etc etc
There are hundreds of Cast Members waiting outside of the ESPN Wide World of Sports to enter the Cast Appreciation Marketplace, a temporary discounted shopping spot exclusively for Cast. The current wait time is 1.5 hours.
The Play Disney Parks app has a bunch of hidden Easter eggs, like Figment hiding outside of the map. Pull the screen to the edges to find stuff like a Navi in Pandora, suitcase to represent the upcoming Riviera DVC hotel, TRON Lightcyles in Tomorrowland, and more.
@JennyENicholson
And the lockers are at the front of the park as well, which means even if you get them you still have to walk (potentially) from the back of the park to drop it off for later.
Career update: I have officially left attractions ops in Pandora to move over to an entertainment role in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Moving to Studios means that I have now had a “home park” at each of the 4 Walt Disney World theme parks...
The Castle of Magical Dreams at Hong Kong Disneyland is nearly complete. Much like my articles on Super Nintendo World, I have watched this rise from nothing while still halfway across the world. I am eager to see this new rendition of the castle.

Another example of why not every ride needs Lighting Lane. This is a guest flow problem, a Show problem, an Efficiency problem and probably a safety issue.
I have seen the Cast Members working the ride, they are going as fast as humanly possible. But at a certain point, the
Seven years ago I was looking at colleges and going into the One Man’s Dream attraction, excited to maybe work for Disney one day. Now, I work inside that exact building.
