Universalism fosters greater love for God. Once you really understand that God loves you unconditionally, and never gives up on you, you cannot but love Him back. Unlike infernalism which cultivate only servile fear, not love.

If any soul is eternally lost, that means that it was the purpose for which said soul was created. That would mean God is evil. As it turns out, it's completely false. God created everyone to be forever happy with Him, and that is why, everyone in the end must be saved.

Over 60 Church Fathers and ecclesiastical writers support the doctrine of Apokatastasis. Furthermore, we know from the Fathers that in their day, the majority of the laity supported it. Per Augustine “very many”, per Jerome “most persons”, per Basil “the mass of men.” shared it.

The current Vicar of Christ is a universalist. Francis is on record saying that God will save everyone, that heaven is for everyone, that he hopes hell is empty, that no one is outside the communion of saints, and that God's justice is His mercy. Infernalism has no future

It is impossible that universalism is a heresy. St. Gregory of Nyssa taught it. He was called "bulwark against heresy" by Ephesus, and "indomitable champion of the Church" & "Father of Fathers" by Nicaea II. The Church doesn't bestow such honours upon heretics.

St. Gregory of Nyssa was dubbed the indomitable champion of the Church, and according to Nicaea 2, everyone called him the Father of Fathers. If apokatastasis is a heresy, he would have been condemned, not bestowed such a high honour.

Matthew 25:46 proves universalism actually. Kolasin is remedial punishment as defined by Aristotle, et al. And since damnation is remedial, it's obviously not eternal.

The eternal state of any creature discloses the reason for which he was created. If any is eternally lost, that means that God created him specifically to torture him for all eternity, which is blasphemous.
