Y6 Trip - We’re waving goodbye to Warwick after a lovely day spent together. These children are a genuine joy to spend time with. Thank you Year 6 for a wonderful year - you’re all amazing!
Had the best day so far learning about the Olympic games, sightseeing in Paris and a lovely boat tour on River Seine. The River Seine is the main stage for the opening ceremony in a few weeks and we could see plenty of preparation happening.

Y6 London - well, that’s it...we’ve begun our journey home. We have a coach full of tired, yet very happy, children. Updates will come via Twitter as we continue our journey and make our way through London’s Friday traffic.
Whitemead update- teachers will be letting the school know as they leave, a text will then be sent informing you of an approximate collection time. The children have had an amazing time and are busy packing and enjoying breakfast before taking part in the final activities.
Following the announcement that Monday 19th September will be a Bank Holiday to mark Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, please note that school will be closed on that day.
Very moving tribute this morning! Thank you to
@MrMSWilliams79
for arranging a friend to come in and play The last post on the trumpet. Very proud of the respect shown by all children during the silence whilst remembering all those affected!
