Spent my afternoon volunteering for a pharmacy, delivering medicine to the elderly/vulnerable. It made me so grateful to have loving friends & family around me ❤️ Also, seeing back office operations in a pharmacy today gave me a new level of respect for those who work in one.

Overnight, Judge Mohamad Fahmi was killed along with his wide & kids, his parents, and his brother’s family in airstrike targeting their home. 16 civilians in total. The judge sat on the board of committee that documents Israeli crimes (in pursuit of accountability)

Just had to confront a man on the jubilee line who wouldn't stop staring & made me feel so awkward. He got vocal & aggressive. So did I. I had to move seats. I felt really unsafe. Thank you to the 6ft South Asian brother in a beige suit who came over to check on me. 🙏

@ImaniDH Oh wait the best thing he ever did was when I broke down during my biggest low in depression, he turned up at my doorstep with a 'self care kit' He filled it with my fave face masks, Lush bath bombs, mindfulness colouring book, my fave herbal teas, cupcakes, etc So, so perfect

I missed suhoor again from tiredness & just finished a 9hr shift on my feet as a key worker. So, so thirsty I haven't eaten in almost 24 hrs & I've never been more grateful to know I have a hot meal to eat tonight. If you're fundraising this Ramadan, plz share your link below❤️

@ghxstin Agree. Yasmin Mogahed said it well before, that when the marriage isn't centred around Allah and begins to fail, mothers do tawaf around their sons, leading to unhealthy attachment which then impacts said son's future marriage. It's literally textbook.

My mum, born & raised in the UK said to me last night "your generation may have to set up home elsewhere, get a job abroad where it's safe to be a Muslim" And for the first time in my ENTIRE life, I literally had no idea where else home could be, besides the UK. It's scary.
