We misuse the word “miracle” way too much. The virgin birth was a miracle. Getting the funds you need to buy a building is not. Raising Lazarus from the dead was a miracle. Making it home in a bad storm was not. The word we need to recover is “providence.”

I don’t agree with MacArthur’s eschatology. I used to, but I think I align with the postmillennialism of the Puritans now. However, here’s the deal: I will go to bat for MacArthur everyday all day. He’s a faithful servant of Christ and I’m deeply indebted to him.

As my very pregnant wife and I were leaving Target a “transgender” guy came up to us and asked us if we wanted to sign a petition supporting women’s “reproductive rights.” I recently purchased these and had one of these in my pocket. Guess what he got? (Buying more right now).
