To my dead brothers in Syria,
To my crying mother's in Afghanistan,
To my screaming sisters in Iraq,
To my shot father's in Iran,
To my impaled aunts in Pakistan,
To my beaten uncle's in Chechnya,
To my hanged cousins in Burma,
To my tortured grandparents Bosnia,
The Moti brothers are still missing ๐
Are they getting Halaal food?
How is the small one handling it all?
How is the big brother holding up for his younger siblings?
Are they alive?
Are they okay? ๐คง
If an Aalim has to come to your house after hours to teach your children Madressah work because they are too busy in the day due to extramural activities the Aalim has the right to charge his price. Stop trying to bargain the price when you couldn't bargain with the school to

I'm a matric student. My aunty is started chemo tomorrow and is going to stay with us. My Gran and mother have had cancer.
How do I go to school?
How do I learn without the fear of being the reason they infected?
I can survive, they can't!
Shut down schools.
Can we start a collection for these people?
My mum said that most of these people are extremely poor (I'm guessing she remembers some people from the time my uncle use to read Taraweeh here) and now they have nothing.
Old clothes, shoes, food, anything. I'll get it to them.
Allah knows when you're tired, heartbroken, anxious, in pain or at your breaking point. But he's given strength within you even when you're feeling weak. Allah loves you so keep going and trust his plans. May he ease whatever pain you're going through inshallah

Hey guys ๐ I know I don't do this but can you please make Dua for my Masi (Mum's Sister). She was diagnosed with breast cancer last Friday and In Sha Allah will start treatment next week.
My Nani had in 2008 and my mum in 2013.
Please ๐ญโฅ๏ธ
(PS:I am in a "safe zone" for now.)
I have a religion for you.
Imaam Shafi'ie use to say something to the effect "The cloth of your kaffan has reached the market place and yet you don't know."
Please make Dua for someone I grew up with. Both her parents passed away during COVID and then her brother passed away recently as well. Her other siblings have gone AWOL.
She's about a week younger than me if I'm not mistaken.
Please make Dua the same doesn't happen to her
I found it easier to sit with non Muslims than with Muslims.
There's no superiority complex amongst them if you're sitting down whereas with Muslims you can sense the Dubai bling by seeing the bag they're carrying to campus and the under breath comments as you approach ๐
Every day I think about a friend of mine who became Muslim and was the only muslim in his family. I use to pass by his house every day.
Then I stopped seeing him and I soon learned he passed away because he had a weak heart.
It still sits on my chest like a brick ๐ญ๐
When you're married, ask your wife how her day was. Being a housewife comes with its many downs and frustrating moments during the day.
If she works do the same.
Women:
Ask your husband how his day was before blabbing about how you don't have enough or go enough times on
As a South African, after months of hopelessness today I can stand proud because my country has done the right thing.
We are not Palestinians but we will fight from our distant land because we understand and feel their pain.
