@WSJ They could be faking, but maybe not. Doctors are notorious for ignoring complaints from teen girls - for 4 years I told drs something was wrong with my teen. Once they tested, I was right. TikTok vids can give teens w/similar complaints a starting point with their dr.

@LauraRbnsn Took FOUR years fighting to get dr's to move beyond the diagnosis of Depression for my youngest. Her dr. begrudgingly offered to do bloodwork to shut me up. Kid was at a specialist within a week - Juvenile Arthritis & Fibromyalgia. She missed her entire high school years.

She had a severe concussion and TBI that she never fully recovered from. I no longer trust schools to call when needed.

@ShiroSpirit I never really restricted my kids access. Instead, we had long discussions about online safety and how to keep themselves safe, as well as dangers they could face online. My youngest is 19 and we never had issues with any of them. She's teaching her kid to be sneaky.

@ask_aubry Twisted my foot and ended up with nerve damage. It was the most EXCRUCIATING thing I've ever experienced. Lost my business and 9 mths of my life before resolved. Dr. refused to give pain meds. Husband slipped on the ice, nothing broken, a bit banged up. Prescribed hydrocodone.🙄

@sfchronicle That's a parent fail. My youngest wanted to go by "they/them" and simply asked us to try to remember. There was no hesitation in telling us because they aren't afraid of us and know that we will accept and love them no matter what. This mom failed her kid not the school.

@thetimes No, man, we're not the same. I don't view children as chattel and something to be sold or bargained with. His rent outstrips his wages? I'd live in a f-ing tent before I SOLD my child! I can't even begin to relate to this.

@MorePerfectUS Once during an interview the lady laughed and told me not to believe all the rumors about 60 hr work weeks - the company only required you to be IN the office for 50. That was a hard pass.
