A couple more pictures of the amazing poppy display on the wall of the Town Hall. Over 20,000 knitted, crocheted and crafted poppies went into creating this. Poppies came in from across the borough and beyond, including a donation of 500 from Spain.

As we think about Remembrance the museum is currently displaying two poppies picked from the battlefields during the First World War, only a handful are known to have survived anywhere in the world. A very real reminder. Visit the museum and find out the full, poignant story.
