Concerned members of the public approached uniformed officers in the city centre about males abusing a dog in the street.
The young pup was taken off the males and is now safe being kennelled locally. Criminal proceedings are being considered for the owners.

He drove at speeds exceeding 70mph in a 30mph zone, before crashing into a taxi on Iffley Road, causing serious injuries to two people.

PCSO's from the East Oxford Neighbourhood Team took part in a joint patrol with Conduent this evening down the Cowley Road, where we issued tickets to those parking on double yellow lines and causing obstructions.
Whilst completing patrols in the Westgate, the Oxford Neighbourhood Team bumped into Sam Ryder who was performing an impromptu gig.

Armed response officers are at a residential property in Paradise Square following a report shortly after 1.15pm today that a man had access to a firearm.
Shots were fired from the property and police returned fire.

Oxford Central NHPT issued £50 fines to 10 vehicles tonight for breaching the No Vehicular Access signs from Broad Street into Magdalen Street. We enforced 18 cyclists for riding with no lights in Broad Street due to growing local complaints regards cycling safety.

Two boys,14 and 15, have been interviewed under caution after far right graffiti was daubed on a wall in Cheney Ln.
The 14 year old was also interviewed about a similar incident in Headington in November.
They have been referred to the Youth Justice Service.
