Brighton have stuck to their blueprint and have brought young players and now the youngest manager in the league. Check the thread below to get updates on their manager and transfers ⏬⏬⏬
I think Nagelsmann has got the balance right with Wirtz, Musiala and the rest of the starting 11. The bench is very dangerous and will save them later in the Euros. Contrast to Germany, England aren't able to find a sweet spot between Saka, Bellingham, Foden and the rest.
One thing about this Germany side is there’s plenty of club contingents that have found plenty of chemistry over the past season.
Kroos and Rüdiger (Real Madrid), Musiala, Neuer and Sané (Bayern Munich, Tah, Andrich and Wirtz (Leverkusen), Mittelstädt and Führich (Stuttgart).
@Utd_Forever7

No balance in both lineups. Bruno and Mainoo can't be the only 2 midfielders playing. Especially in the premier league you need a world class defensive mid.
Italy have always been known for having great defenders. I think they will keep that reputation intact with these guys in the Euros. Still have talents like Scalvini who've missed out but have been great. Really enjoyed writing this article for

Italy have been crying out for a leader in central defense since the retirements of Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.
They may have just found the answer in Riccardo Calafiori.

Bukayo Saka amongst Arsenal’s squad:
-Most goals (16)
-Most goal contributions (25)
-Most shots per 90 (3.1)
-Most shots on target per 90 (1.1)
-Most successful dribbles per 90 (1.4)
@TSpec1al
takes a look at Saka’s ascent at the Emirates Stadium:
Chelsea are trying to play the long game but it's a big gamble. Their squad at the present lacks experience, transfers are focused on young players . Real have made a good decision keeping experienced players to guide the youngsters and Chelsea should consider the same approach.
Chelsea have completed a deal to sign Palmeiras winger Estevão for an initial fee of €34 million, potentially rising to €61m in add-ons, with the Brazilian joining next summer on a deal through 2033.

One year ago, Stuttgart beat HSV in the promotion / relegation playoff.
Today, they're headed back to the UEFA Champions League after finishing second in the Bundesliga.
@TSpec1al
analyzes how Sebastian Hoeneß returned Stuttgart to the promised land:
His time at Brighton wasn't great but he hit the floor running at Germany. Germany at the Euros have been great but if they struggle at any point they'll need the experience off the bench. Feel like Undav will do something special if they bring him on.
Deniz Undav has been one of the biggest revelations of this Bundesliga campaign, but his talent was clear from his time in Belgium. Really not sure why Brighton cut ties with him, but their loss is Stuttgart’s gain.
Incredible stuff by
@TSpec1al
on Undav.
The team lacks balance. Trent is an elite passer of the ball but a midfielder carries out many vital roles which Trent can't produce. Can't believe Southgate has still started him above Gallagher, Wharton , Mainoo.
After two unconvincing displays in midfield vs. Serbia and Denmark, Gareth Southgate has a dilemma on his hands with Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Is Trent's best position for England at right back, central midfield, or on the bench?
@ScottBradleyX
:
I do think that they've done it again. When I watched how Fabian Hürzeler liked to setup and the profile of players he liked, I felt like he would be a great fit. Brighton are doing well but they'll need Fabian to take them to the next level.
Brighton hit it out of the park with their last managerial pick — can they do it again with Fabian Hürzeler?

Arteta has built a formidable Arsenal side but the lack of silverware could be pointed out more if the side don't accomplish anything next season. The long term project has worked out well but Arteta has been given enough time and he needs to deliver.
Arsenal's 2023/24 season:
-Best winning percentage (67.3%) in club history
-2nd-most points (89) in the club's Premier League history
-Most league wins (28) in a Premier League season
-Highest goal difference (+62) in a Premier League season

Cucurella has been great for Spain. Spain have been great and in control. I don't think Chelsea can have that level of control. So there's a clear contrast in between the environment he's given to perform. He's a good player overall but performing in the league is different.
Great analysis. Many clubs are looking for a defensive mid and its become a vital position. It's very important to find the right profile according to the teams style and radar is a very simple but effective method to do it. I've just started exploring it and it's fun to use.

Sean Dyche has managed Everton , Burnley and Watford (3 recent teams). He's managed to maintain a 35% win percentage for all those teams, truly underrated.

Does Dyche deserve more credit?

Thomas Frank has the best record against top clubs in the Prem. If we're going to take time in rebuilding I think Frank could give us best results. Even after the rebuild I'd fancy him to be a top manager
Solanke was great last season. Scoring the amount of goals he scored with limited chances is a great achievement but now at Tottenham he will have enough chances and could become one of the most dangerous strikers in the league.

Not having these players has brought some attention to Baumgartner. He's been a crucial player for Austria and has produced many important goals and assists for the country. I think his next season at Leipzig will be crucial.

Both teams stacked with stars of next generation. Spain have played with control and have been the best team in the Euros but England have the players that can produce great moments.
England have not lost a competitive match since December 10, 2022. Spain have not lost since March 28, 2023.
Which team is coming out on top in Berlin?
@fahdahmed987
has you covered with an all-encompassing tactical preview of tomorrow's final.
While squad depth and frequent injuries played a role, the defensive setup wasn't good. Last season showed the importance of Lisandro Martinez in the side not only as a defender but also as a playmaker. United will look to get 2 new defenders this summer.
Only four teams conceded more expected goals in the Premier League than Manchester United (70.1).
Three of those teams suffered relegation, whilst the other (West Ham) sacked their manager.
@normalnik131
takes a deep look at United's defensive struggles:
Feyenoord have already lost Mats Wieffer to a Premier League team this summer, and there’s reason to believe Quinten Timber could follow in his footsteps.
Could we see him reunite with Wieffer and Yanukba Minteh at Brighton?
The simplest way is to play one at strike but then have a fluid system. If the striker drops to the left pocket the winger can but in and vice versa.
If Mbappe and vini develop this chemistry I don't think any club has a chance against them
He brings the experience and the playmaking ability that Chelsea lack. If he's able to perform at his best in the Prem he could be one of the names joining KDB, Fernandes, Odegaard.
France have missed Pogba.Balance he had with Kante and Griezmann is irreplaceable. They should start fresh after the
@EURO2024

I agree. Germany could be very dangerous if they find the right balance in midfield. Wirtz, Kross ,Musiala ,Muller . It's just a great combination of experience and talent.
