On top of that, you could usually block ads using a browser add-on. I don't recommend blocking ads on here, though, for both technical and moral reasons.

@stormfall33 The troopers missed ~97% of the time in Fallen Order when you were climbing or hanging anywhere. It's an intended feature that keeps the climbing aspect of the game from being too frustrating. Imagine dying to blasters while climbing.

@wrathsemilia It's called typecasting. The casters approach the actors/actresses, not usually the other way around. Or the actor's agent handles securing the roles based on what their previous work was. It's a real problem in the industry, because sometimes, they can't branch out.

Today begins the first day of my first 2-month game project as part of my new year resolution to make a 100% playable game prototype every 2 months for the entire year. At least one game will be published to Steam at the end of the year. The rest will likely be published to Itch.

@benz145 I personally find most titles with realistic visuals lacking in interactions and physics. It's the low poly stuff which tends to be more immersive because of the interactive elements and realism of their control mechanics. Rarely do games have both.

@pDylan002 @AntonHand VR has mostly been indie devs in the first place... and most of the enjoyable VR experiences and full games IMO have always been the ones by indie devs. Meta took the focus from PCVR to mobile VR, and that caused VR indie devs to optimize for mobile at the cost of PCVR godliness.
