Usually I avoid to follow utility at the start of the round when I’m solo observing.
I actually didn’t know about this strat but noticed this uncommon lineup, so I gave it a shot and followed it.
First I thought it would just deal damage in mid until I saw the Omen going for it
Lately, I’ve been trying some new, advanced cinematic styles.
This one particularly is super hard to execute and easy to fuck up, but I really like that slow-fast-slow cinematic style.
It’s inspired by the premade Counterstrike cinematic paths from ESL, BLAST, etc.
OBSERVER VOICE COMMS PT. 2 📷
This is an example showing again how important communication is.
While I was focused on the freecam,
@raveNxy0
told me when he had contact so I knew when to cut to him.
OBSERVER VOICE COMMS PT. 4 📷
Simple but really effective thing. Spotted Astra&Kay-O sneaking into the smoke and called
@raveNxy0
the potential surprise flash.
Cutted to cinematic as I saw him holding the flash and went back to POV when the flash popped.
This is S²-Tier Replay work!
I am not sure who is the person behind the POV Replays, but there is absolute no better way to show this set piece. Good Replay OPS are so underrated!
I am super heartbroken for not being considered for vct masters, emea or dach.
I was grinding super hard for the past years to be able to observe valorant on the highest level possible. I even quit uni to be able to work my dream job. Now it's time to follow a new direction…
After 3 Years, I am no longer part of the
@valleague_dach
Observing Team.
With ProjectV/TakeTV now taking over most of the VCL DACH fields, we unfortunately couldn’t find a financial agreement.
Thank you for the great time, especially during the Obs days with
@ravenOBS
!
I finally finished my 1 day of working in esport video😅
This took me way too long ...
You can watch the full version on my TikTok (pinned comment)

Jobs in Esports: Camera Operator 🎥
@PaytonPeterson
is a robotic camera operator for the VCT. Similar to a cinematic observer, Payton is also using a controller to move his cameras.
What a way to kick off 2023!
With over 1.4 million people tuned in only for the grand final, this was the biggest event I’ve ever worked on.
One wrong click and millions of people will blame you 😅
This pressured challenge is the reason I love my job ❤️
Goodbye
#VCTLOCKIN
Thats a wrap for
#VALORANTMasters
Observing in front of 12,000 in-house viewers is such an incredible, great feeling!
I am just amazed at how far we've come with Valorant and Esports in general, and I’m thankful for every day I get to work these events.
This is my world 🌍❤️
Jobs in Esports - Observer
@sapphiReGG
is THE most known Observer in the Esports scene!
She made her first appearance during ESL One Cologne back in 2015 and is now part of the Valorant Champions Tour.
I am finally back in my element! 🥳
Super excited to go to tokyo to observe another masters event with my Observer colleagues 🫶
I also have some new cinematic observing ideas and can’t wait to try them out 📸
If someone told me earlier this year that I would observe in the Final of
#VALORANTChampions
with
@priusOBS
I wouldn't believe it. Super proud I managed to achieve that.
We go Breeze 📸🏝️
Jobs in Esports - Stage Referee
@juruken

Jobs in Esports - Technical Director

Personal Observing Highlight of today, caught with
@raveNxy0
KAY-O Flash combined with raze satchel.
1. Communicated with POV Obs
2. Found a nice camera angle
3. Switch in the right moment to POV to show the kill
Big fan of showing Lineups that way when they are meant to break utility.
We stay on fullscreen POV while following the projectile, then switching to fullscreen freecam to show the outcome.

@xilvobs
Small detail what cost EG the round.
They used a Breach aftershock + Sova shockdart combo to destroy the KJ Ult. Unfortunately C0m missed the lineup and the tower players got detained.
We sadly couldn’t see that on stream but thanks to
@heliumbrella
we have it here.
I'm flying home to Berlin today, as this was by far the nicest working place I could imagine. The nature speaks for itself.
I am so thankful to have been a part of such a great event. I can tell for sure that Riot is such an amazing, skilled company filled with awesome people.
Jobs in Esports - Team Handler (with
@TheLuxorus
)
I’m starting a series where I present different jobs in and outside esports broadcasts. In the upcoming weeks, I will add more to my TikTok.
I bet 90% didn’t even know this job existed.
❗️ ANNOUNCEMENT ❗️
I'm really happy to announce that I now officially joined
@LiquidValorant
on their 6-Man-Roster.
Had a tough start against
@TENSTARGG
but we managed to make it to the upper Bracket Final.
Let's go boys 💪
This is really unreal stuff!
On a late call, I will be joining the
#VALORANTChampions
as the 4th Observer. Seeing my name next to
@Yehty_
@sapphiReGG
&
@priusOBS
feels very illegal🥵
I’ve been brought in to cover the Liquid Group Stage Matches which they play from their hotel📷
This year is really a challenge for many people working in Esport…
Coming into 2024 we experienced probably the biggest loss in Esport with an enormous amount of layoffs.
During such hard times it’s very important to stick together & support each other.
Praying for 2025 🙏
That's it from us!
With Dreamhack ending, we are also closing the chapter
@valleague_dach
2022. Since January, we observed over 250 maps together and the chemistry between us became insane 📸
I am excited to see where it brings us to for 2023 👀
I can officially announce that I will be joining
@OvationValorant
on their VCT EMEA 2024 Roster.
After they've analyzed my 41 Kills Lotus game, I received my 2 years contract. This is a big step in my career as I will be replacing
@MatrixxAPEX
who was the best smoker in Germany.
That's a wrap for my first event, working as a barracks operator for
#VCTEMEA
Had some problems at the start but managed to get everything working smooth in the end. Can’t wait to see all these super nice people again for LCQ&Ascension :)
This is peak csgo cinematic observing!
Using the 3rd person cam to show the early utility coming in looks so good.
From the timing of the cuts to the pre-made angles, everything is very well thought out.
Awesome work
@MC_csgo
!
#IEM
Happy to be back for
#VCTEMEA
Unfortunately, you won’t see me as much as last year as I will be only covering week 2. That’s probably also the last time I will be observing with Xilv for this year, but you might see me at the next global Event 🙂🎌
I had an amazing weekend at the VCL DACH Finals.
Everything was super well organized, there was great communication, and many many cool people 🫶
#ChallengersDACH
That’s a wrap for
#VCTEMEA
Really enjoyed the 3 days observing with
@xilvobs
. We definitely had good moments and with the addition of
@atroooix
replays I think we delivered!
I hope to get the chance to return one day to the EMEA broadcast. Thanks for having me :)
2022 was by far my most exciting observing year!
I made friends, met old friends, traveled to various countries and had so much fun observing some banger matches.
2023 will be really interesting with the new valorant circuit and the new roasters.
A little backstage tour through the
#VCTEMEA
Observer room
Will upload more behind the scenes videos on TikTok in the coming weeks, so make sure to leave a follow;)

The
#VCT
APAC LCQ came to an end and I wanted to thank everyone involved for making this an absolute banger event!
Where we really struggled with our Observer setup in the start, we managed to create an overall great ingame Production in the end.
Hope to see y’all soon again❤️
Although I am super hyped flying to São Paulo, I sadly have to state that I’m not sure if I will be working VCT EMEA Events as I used to do last year.
Still, I’ll keep my head up and use the Masters/Champs Events to work on myself and improve.
Currently still looking for Valorant & CSGO POV/Cinematic Observing Opportunities

Exciting Opportunity for Aspiring Production Talent!
We're thrilled to announce an educational class designed for budding talents, and our inaugural guest is none other than
@Synga2k
- A Tier 1 Valorant Observer!
When? 28/10/23 at 17:00 BST
Where?
I lately was thinking about how I managed to step into the professional Observing Scene.
These were the things who really help me at the start (beside motivation, willpower and high quality standards) to fulfill my dream of making a living from Esport Observing.
