I don't want to quit @PokemonGoApp but it's really hard to support this game's scummy business practices. It's not just about Dieno, shinies, GO Fest, Shadow Mewtwo, ETMs, Magikarp Day, the CDay "vote", the $1 grooming quests, GBL, the ads, FOMO, Megas. It's the whole package.

Mega Evolution is not "free to play." 50 energy to Mega Evolve with roughly 40 energy per Mega Raid means you have to raid two times a day in order to maintain a Mega Pokemon. That's before mentioning that the Mega Energy is species specific. It's such a stupid system.

Hey @GooglePlay , the @PokemonGoApp won't tell me how many Raids I have to do to get a Shiny Pokemon. According to your ToS, shouldn't Pokémon GO be disclosing the rates for their monetized loot box raids? I've heard of people spending $100 on Raids & still not getting a Shiny.

XL Candy has fundamentally ruined the Ultra League. Location/Whaling/Spoofing/Rocking/Sock Shaking has never given players such a massive advantage in this game until now. Pokemon GO needs to even the playfield or more players are going to quit or turn to cheating.

Just a reminder: All of your shinies are worthless. A Cday or event making them common doesn't change that. Dropping $$$ on Raid Passes to try to get a Shiny was always a bad idea. If you're upset because you dropped $$$ on Shinx before, remember how you feel now next time.

Psystrike vs Psychic. Same DPE now (90 for 50 energy) Psystrike has a 0.3s earlier damage window and animation time. So Psystrike still wins. Psychic is just really good now. Psychic is better than Future Sight now tho

For those on the fence about taking a break from Pokemon GO, I took a 5 month break and didn't miss a single goddamn thing. I actually enjoy the game MORE after taking that break. The meta didn't pass me in GBL, I'm actually BETTER now than I was before. Food for thought.
