Barrage of objections to plan for 500 new homes in Burton. Who are these homes for? With the increase in population coming many from immigrants, are we building over our countryside to satisfy the needs of foreigners?

After seeing yet more illegals arriving yesterday, I feel desperate about the Govt getting a handle on this serious problem. Strikes me that it shouldn't be difficult just to turn the Albanians straight around and stop benefits of any kind to illegals. Then see how numbers drop.

@UP19755 I lived and worked in the Middle East and loved hearing the call to prayer. For some reason the call to prayer in London is jarring. It doesn't fit with the culture of the UK. Sadly, however, our culture is being dismantled. We need to preserve it.

@sandieshoes It is the politics of envy. The tragedy is that many small prep schools will close thus taking away the choice of parents to educate their children independently. Our country will be so altered over the next 5 years which is very sad and worrying.

@peterstopcrime She and her family should be deported. If you don't abide by the laws of this country, you are not welcome here. If those defrauding the state are deported, it will act as a deterrent at the very least. Not to mention getting rid of lawless immigrants.

@sandieshoes I'm a Grandma and I'm livid. I am seriously considering going on a peaceful protest at some point... when I don't have my lovely grandchildren to look after!

@Shannon31677945 I'm a retired head teacher and I taught my 6 year old grandson on Zoom for an hour every morning because all his school did was send a couple of worksheets home a week. I cannot believe that head teachers allowed their staff to do so little for their pupils.

@misspaulalondon It's going to get worse here in the UK. Labour were voted in on 34% of the vote, hardly an endorsement and certainly not a mandate for the sweeping changes they're making.

Why has nothing been done about this? I know there are multiple shenanigans going on in Govt atm but this is serious and potentially undermines national security. Get your act together MSM and report on what is truly scandalous.

Why is Labour's Barry Gardiner no longer mentioned by the UK MSM? Is he in Beijing?

I can easily accept that Sue Gray's son was part of a package deal. Unacceptable nepotism. The Labour Party would have been howling about this until last week. It'll be the norm going forward, I suspect!

Oh yes! Sue Gray’s son did indeed win his seat for Labour. Long been suspected that his selection to stand was part of a package offered to Sue Gray to join Labour & be Starmers chief of staff. Perish the thought.

@oswaldalalmeida @trussliz @Conservatives What don't you understand about why Brexit was necessary? The EEC was an economic organisation. We're leaving the EU as it strives to force us into a United Europe, removing sovereignty from us and replacing with corrupt, unelected technocrats. EEC and EU totally different.

@MailOnline I am so delighted that these remarks have disgusted so many people. Absolutely shocking example of racism towards white Britons. We had just witnessed a perfect example of multiculturalism and inclusiveness and yet this does not satisfy some new British.
