On Sunday, March 21, members of the US Health & Human Services (HHS) team gave out the Johnson & Johnson Janssen COVID vacinnation making Palau the first Pacific nation to receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. 40 state residents were vaccinated during the visit. Thank you HHS!

PRESIDENT WHIPPS SWEARS IN FOUR PART-TIME JUSTICES – On March 4, 2021, President Surangel S. Whipps, Jr. administered the oath of office of four part-time justices at the Judiciary building in Ngerulmud, Melekeok.
As of today, over 2000 people have been vaccinated with the second round of vaccine's due to arrive in Palau soon. Thank you Operation Warp Speed and MOH staff who continue to administer the vaccines.
