This is my foxgirl, Hotaru. You can see her in the game CoC2. She's feisty and tends to erupt in foxfire when excited. Sometimes I draw her doing things in modern clothing and glasses, which is a reflection of myself and not her as a character.

I have a ton of respect for artists that target one specific character from a game or show and 99% of their art is just that character (Or said character and the artists OC). I feel like it takes some dedication. Especially if the character is popular and the community is nuts.

As a creator, I think about things like "I feel like this [minor detail] is bad". It helps to look at art from others to discover what your eyes are drawn to first, to understand that maybe nobody is paying attention to that thing you're worried about in the first place.

To set expectations, I'm not quite a NSFW or fetish artist. I *can* draw those subjects and often do for commission or request work, but my personal art is memes, characters being cute, etc. Most suggestive art is usually someone else's idea, save for specific instances.

There's a bunch of new things I tried here too. It's going to sound dumb but one of the biggest things was pen stabilization in CSP which helped make thin, smooth lines SO MUCH EASIER. I'm also using standard measurements for face / body ratio now on top of proper color picking

Probably the biggest distinction between a 'finished' work and sketches at this point is just the time put into cleaning it up the lines and making it pretty. I've grown fairly adept at working fast and creating a presentable idea, even if it is a mess.
