For tutorials on how to load Goldhen,
@MODDED_WARFARE
will be waking up soon, and he'll craft an excellent tutorial. I've been unwell for the past week, so you probably don't want to hear my voice right now. Haha!
Adapting the first PS5 backported game for compatibility with firmware version 5.00 is in progress. The current focus is on ensuring functionality on firmware 4.03, with plans to subsequently test it on version 3.00.
Goldhen has bin loader. Someone could potentially set up a host for firmware version 11.00, incorporating payloads that utilize POST requests. Although there might be a limited number of payloads at the moment, it's likely that more will be ported soon.
So backporting the base fixes the issue with ps5, but you will have to rebuild each update. Other then that you will need to merge the base and update. Both ways are not a great solution. The correct way will be to add a spoofer to the payload like HEN or GoldHEN
Not all games work yet, but in time I'm sure will see more working.
@LightningMods_
is doing a great job making everything work and resolving the issues as we find them. Also thank you to everyone for the sending the dumps we could test.
HB Apps are now working with Hen 2.1.4. I'll try to update my GitHub tonight since it will take some time. Thanks to
@bestpig
, we managed to solve this.
I've added a T button on the website, enabling users to spoof the PS5. This allows you to install games that require higher firmware on PS5 running firmware versions 3.xx/4.xx. With this feature, users can easily move these games to external storage and copy them to other PS5.
After conducting several tests, I found that the execution time decreased significantly from 75 seconds using Python to just 40 seconds using C++ on the Raspberry Pi 4.
PPPwn has been updated to support Debug settings on 10.00 along with some other changes and new payloads
New payloads
- PS4 Module Dumper (no offsets other than stage2)
- Update Blocker (universal, suggested by
@MODDED_WARFARE
and
@DefaultDNB
)
commit:
Just an update, guys! NOBD 8.50 has been confirmed working. I will add the files to GitHub soon. This should work on all firmware versions, but I recommend only upgrading to 9.00 if you are currently below that version. A big thanks to
@LightningMods_
for his help on this one.
UPDATE,
@bestpig
and I have been working on porting HEN to all firmware versions. This is a temporary solution until Sistro releases GoldHEN. In the meantime, keep an eye on our GitHub repositories for updates. As for the code, we have a small difference, but it's nothing major.
Tomorrow, I plan to create a video demonstrating the process of installing a lower game update on a updated PS5. This will be done using a PS5 that is currently running firmware versions 3xx or 4xx.
Here are some payloads I built from scene-collective repositories for payload guest. They should work on all firmware versions up to 11.50 if anything above 11.00 ever becomes available. I believe the icons were created by
@TheWizWiki
There Alot of questions, but this is my opinion.
If you're on 9.00 stay you can do everything 11.00 can.
If you are higher than 9.00, wait for sistro to release goldhen, and if it's only for 11.00, then if you want, go for it.
7in1 Updated With New GoldHEN
We are running out of space again, maybe on weekend I'll remove all old payloads we don't use.

Here is how
@sleirsgoevy
got the offsets for his host and payload.
I did start getting some of the offsets for the other firmware. you can check out my project here.
Update
I extracted the leaked debug package, which needed version 5.00. After that, I backported the package files to version 4.03. I attempted similar steps with version 3.00, but encountered failures without any backtrack. This was just to see if I could backport on ps5.

I have been going 12 hours today updating everything. A lot of work but here is another one to test.
EchoStretch All in 1 GoldHEN 2.4B16.2 Android
Also PSFree With 9.00
In the PS5 Game param.json, you will have requiredSystemSoftwareVersion.
You will need that version to dump it then it can be changed to 0x0100...
The key part is the sdkVersion.
If it has 0x0300... it should run on 3.00 and up.
If it is higher then backport is needed.
[PPPwn] the payload loader has been updated for 11.00, same as 9.00 replace stage2.bin and put the sample payload included on USB root

Stage2.bin:
Quick Note:
This Is 8.00 support but not libkernel support and will not let you play ps2 games.
This is the 7.61 support and it has libkernel support and will let you play ps2 games.
Currently 8.00+ will not work for ps2 games
