A massive well done to Y10 Bethan Homer who came 2nd in the 1500m at the recent West Midlands Schools Athletics championships for Y10/11/12&13 in a fantastic time of 5.01.
She also recently ran 4.58 at Birmingham university open, her first time under 5mins.

Another week, another West Midlands Cup Final victory for our girls football teams!!! Under 12s beat President Kennedy Academy 7-0 today and our Under 13s beat Wombourne 5-3 last week. Amazing work girls 👏👏 We’re very proud of you.
Noah Y8 and Owen Y9 ran in the junior boys English Schools Cross Country championships on Saturday competing for the West Midlands. Noah finished 2nd after leading most of the race and Owen finished 45th.
A fantastic effort and achievement by both boys. 👏👏👏
Winners!!!! After beating St. Edmond Campion 3-0 and Broadway 6-1 in the group stage, our girls did us proud with a 2-1 win over Great Barr in the final. Well done girls!!

Commiserations to our Y10 football team who lost on penalties this afternoon in the West Mids County Cup final after 2-2 at FT. A great performance by all. We move on stronger for next year.

Given that the majority of students won't have checked first day timetables on Go4Schools. PE kit will not be required to be worn to school by Y8-11 students tomorrow.
It didn't occur to us that students would check in advance.
What a fantastic 3 days of climbing with our GCSE PE students. Some outstanding young climbers, using advanced skills. Some really useful activity scores gained.
Well done to all of them, it was really hard work.
