If you're first thought on the SCOTUS sports betting decision was, "what about online poker?" Realize that up until today, PASPA prohibited states from legalizing sports betting. There is no such prohibition on online poker. Sports joined poker as a state level decision.

New Jersey casinos should stay closed. The state is doing a great job controlling COVID-19 and is still generating gambling revenue from online gambling. The casinos that reopen will operate in the red and there's a good chance they cause cases to spike.

8,659 entrants. And did it with much less online poker access (in the US anyway) than in 2006, when a record 8,773 people entered. If legal online poker continues to spread, giving more US residents have access to direct satellites, this number could go way higher.

From what I've heard (behind the scenes), interstate online poker agreements between PA and NJ could happen fast. Unlike the year-plus it took to link NJ and NV, the infrastructure is in place to more or less "flip the switch". I suspect the same is true in Michigan.

@SteveRuddock @Protentialmn How close do you think wide interstate online poker as being a possibility with Sheldon being out the way now ? I know some have to deal with the bad actor clause but I think they would get that settled as soon as they knew it was a good possibility of it occurring.
