: “The RSPB has always had a place in my life. I can remember my dad taking me across their reserves as a young boy, bird book and binoculars in hand. I’ll never forget my excitement as I ticked off what I’d seen.”
Invictus Games was as brilliant as always. It’s been fantastic going out interviewing the competitors and their supportive families for the BBC. The Invictus spirit is as strong as ever.
I had my head in my hands commentating on the Wheelchair Rugby Final 🥈🇬🇧
@WeAreInvictus
Look at me skiing again!! Last time I wore this ski gear was 16 years ago when I worked in La Tania. This is 1 hour into my first lesson. Thanks

Woke up this morning thinking it might all be a dream but no... GB Wheelchair rugby really did win Gold in Tokyo. It was a pleasure to commentate along side

Just been 35 floors above London to

I was blown away this week when made ‘Honorary Freeman of the Borough of Swale’. It’s a traditional title and highest that can be awarded by Mayor and local council. I was lost for things to say the kind words said by Cllr Alan Horton and Cllr Ghlyn Whelan took me by surprise.
I’m joining

Brilliant days filming with
@BBCCountryfile
as always. I was pond dipping for the rare Pond mud snail. There is more to them than meets the eye... if you can see them in the first place!
@Buzz_dont_tweet
So you make a birdbath for the garden... “It’ll attract more verity” they said. It certainly did! Didn’t expect a sparrow hawk to take advantage.

I was diagnosed with cervical myelopathy a year ago, and was told I would be in a wheelchair within six months. But, I still get around with the aid of a stick. But your example and courage show me a wheelchair isn't the death sentence I imagined it to be, Thanks!
Thanks everyone that made my
@InvictusSydney
trip so fun. I had a brilliant time working on the coverage. Congratulations to all competitors... Just a bit of jet lag to shake off now!
Superb atmosphere at the Cutty Sark for the

Thanks for the feedback and questions around my last

With all this wet weather don’t forget to keep your bird feeders clean. Bird seed can quickly get mouldy at the bottom of the feeder if you don’t keep on top of it. Moldy bird seeds, nuts and suets can be deadly.

They’re back. It’s a surprisingly proud moment when the blue tits come back for their box year after year. If you need advice on maintaining your bird boxes look no further than the RSPB website.
