Andy’s freind John gray was called in as a peacemaker after Lynne called Andy’s dad. There was a week long battle to try to make his parents understand what he was doing. It ended with Andy fleeing the country

The reality is Micheal did not arrange the actress to appear as his daughter. He left that task to Al Parinello. That way Micheal could claim in complete honesty he had not arranged it. As an Andy fan she previously met Micheal & got a selfie. He literally didn’t remember her.

Remember Warren? Barney’s replacement in Andy Griffith? He was Jack Burns the producer of Fridays. Andy told him he planned to fake his death. My favorite part of this clip is how he is play acting then turns 180 when he realizes the crew is gonna kick Andy’s ass.
