I think really one of my biggest issues with Sims 4, is I'm almost never attached to the Sims themselves. Their personalities just aren't as in-depth as past games & the extra systems with memory/attraction/fears, etc. made them feel more "real".

Honestly I feel like recycling animations isn’t Sims 4’s biggest problem. I need details that make Sims themselves feel unique. In Sims 2, shy Sims look down at the ground a lot. Outgoing Sims do finger guns at every sim they walk past 😂 they have specific interests & dislikes.

Maybe unpopular opinion so get out the pitchforks. I think putting Sims 4 in an alternate universe was an awful idea. Building up the lore for characters for 3 games in a row just to take it all away in the 4th game was a mistake IMO. I’m not attached & they feel like strangers.
