Use a torch or your phone’s light to signal to the bus driver (just make sure not to shine it in their eyes - just point it at the road!). This means they’ll be able to see you better at the stop.

Stagecoach services are not impacted by National Express strike action starting Monday 20th March. Our services will be running but maybe busier than normal, so please plan ahead.
As a mark of respect to all those that lost their lives or who were affected by the Grenfell Tower fire one year ago, we will be joining a nationwide minutes silence at 1200 TODAY. Where safe, all buses will pull up at the nearest bus stop to observe this silence. Thank you.
Never worry about change again as we are delighted to announce our buses now* accept contactless payments up to £30. Get on-board with contactless - Click here for more info
*Leamington & Stratford buses will accept contactless from 20th October
Following the media coverage today about public services impacted by strike action, we just wanted to confirm that no Stagecoach services are being impacted by any strike action, and services will run as per the normal scheduled timetables.
We want to say a huge thanks to our customers who are continuing to think of others by wearing a face covering when travelling. And, to our drivers and the whole Stagecoach team, THANK YOU – we couldn’t do it without you.
From 15 June it’ll be compulsory for all customers to wear a face covering when travelling on public transport in England. Some people may be exempt from wearing one and you can find out more information here >
From Monday 25th September 2023, electric scooters must not be brought on board any Stagecoach service, even if the battery pack has been removed. This safety step is due to the batteries on e-scooters being a known fire risk and multiple fires occurring on UK public transport.
We're aware of an issue with the Stagecoach Bus App which is preventing iOS users from accessing their tickets. Until further notice, if you're unable to access your ticket for travel, please show this Twitter post to your driver to allow for travel. We'll keep you updated.
Thanks for all your tweets today. I am just logging off now. Jon will be here on Friday at 09:00 to help with any queries. On behalf of Stagecoach Midlands I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. ^ Cat
#ClapforCaptainTom
- The PM has announced a national clap for Captain Tom & all health workers at 18:00 today, and we are getting involved too! Where safe, our great team will pull over and clap...and we would love for you to join us clapping to lift spirits in his honour!
Thank you so much to Tyler, who has been raising money selling eggs so that he can produce gift baskets for key workers. He’s donated boxes to Kettering & Northampton General Hospitals and has now donated one to the Stagecoach Team in Northampton. What an amazing boy. 👍👍🌈🚍
We proudly launched the UK’s first autonomous bus service, AB1 - the culmination of our collaborative project, CAVForth.
The buses enter public service in East Scotland on 15th May & will carry over 10,000 passengers each week.
