Not sure this statement from Reading will endear them to L1 fans. Basically, 'we can rip off travelling fans by giving them shittier seats'.
Hope nobody goes there now.
I have to say, the travelling support from Portsmouth last night was the best I've seen at the Bank in years, maybe ever. They never stopped and although it was galling, I have massive respect for REAL supporters of REAL clubs

The EFL have announced the televised ties for the Carabao Cup 2nd round. Following
@SalfordCityFC
being knocked out by Leeds, the decision has been taken to show their 1st round elimination again on August 27th.
Today is exciting.
It's my Dad's first game back at the Bank after his lung cancer operation.
When he first got his diagnosis, the fear was he might not even be here for the game.
I'm not religious, but sometimes you just have to say thank you 🙏 to someone, or something
After seeing what bad ownership has done to Oldham, and Scunthorpe, I can't help but be thankful for what we have. It's been tough to watch at times this season, but off the pitch we're in good hands.
I do feel a little insulted in Sunderland fan's reaction to losing to Lincoln, like we're dirt on their shoe. They'll play much worse teams than us and visit far worse grounds. Plus, they're banging on about being bad but we were superb
This weekend, in the 37th minute (his age), let's have a huge applause for
@pickyimp
, who we tragically lost last week. He was a lovely guy, Lincoln City through and through, and he deserves a loud and raucous applause.
A League Two team getting to the quarter finals of the FA Cup is worth acknowledging. The revenue should set them up for years. Rivalry aside, it's huge for them, so fair play.
I mean, it's not quite getting there as a non-league club, but it's close 🔴⚪🔴⚪🏆
I don't often congratulate former players on stuff, feels a bit like pandering to a firmer girlfriend. However, for Harry Anderson, I'll make an exception. Top bloke, delighted for him.
Personally, I'm gutted for Danny and Nicky. We're where we are now because of their hard work, they orchestrated one of our finest seasons, and laid the foundations for what we have today.
Do me a favour. If you're of the opinion we should sack our manager, just click the 'unfollow' button on my profile and we'll all move on.
We all talk about being against modern football, but if you're posting stuff like 'it's time to go', you and I have no further business
Just a polite reminder to people sliding into my DM's - Lincoln City have a manager, one with a promotion and Wembley finals on his record. He's diligent, hard working and only just starting the next phase of our history.
This club never ceases to amaze me. What a performance. I didn't think with ten minutes left we'd still be in the game. I'm so proud to be a
@LincolnCity_FC
fan

#impasone
Every one congratulating Imps fans on the great away attendance might also thank
@liamjscully
for negotiating such a good allocation. We're quick to complain about negatives so he should be credited when it goes right.
@Joey7Barton
@GabSutton
Gab is one of the gentlest people I know, and you've gone in on him like a cigar in the eye, needlessly.
What happened to you as a kid to make you so full of rage, Joey?
I see Goldbridge has come out defending the FA Cup decision. Of course he has, hawking the alternative view for nothing more than engagement. He can't go to any games because he'd get filled in. He's a parasite, the absolute image of everything wrong with the modern supporter.
Today is exciting.

@CryptoStu3
@BBlues100
Yep, name the pub, I'll go in and buy the assistant manager a drink, on card, for handling this pointless harassment so well. She's only doing her job.
By the way, hats off to
@rob_makepeace
on hearing a local applauding Baldwin's challenge on McGrandles late on, a nasty tackle indeed.
'They can clap in League Two next season'.
Ouch 🔥🔥🔥
Dad had his cancer operation today. The surgeon got it all out & he was awake and eating ham, egg and chips within two hours.
It's not the end of course, but it's still fucking brilliant. First time I've cried since Sunderland away in the 2021 play offs
What a performance. I've said it all along, Michael Appleton will get it right here. That's nine points from 15, with losses against two play off chasing clubs. The future is bright.
Quick policy change on my site: if you want to leave abusive comments under fake names I'll block your IP address. If you get aggressive, personally abusive or rude and won't put your name to it, I'll just make it hard for you to post. Sick of people being pricks under fake names
I don't get the hate for Akinfenwa, I really don't. I take my hat off to him, made the most of his strengths throughout his career. Finishing at Wembley in a play-off final was a great achievement at his age. Fair play to him.
I'm off social media for the night. I get amazed at how many fans want to be negative after one game. It baffles me how people who claim to love the game can find so much neggy energy at the slightest hiccup. Still, everyone is entitled to an opinion, whether I agree or not.
If Bob Dorrian stands down, history will remember him as the man who saved our club. They should put a bloody bronze statue outside the new ground for the crap he took. No Bob, No Imps.
Shareholders have put £3m into the club
The Jabara family and Clive Nates are literally keeping our club afloat right now, and they deserve a huge amount of praise
I've never been fussed about the royal family, but I feel quite emotional this evening. Our queen was one constant, a beacon of respect and restraint, a public figure never tainted by dishonesty or disgrace. May she rest in peace 🇬🇧
Fiorini outstanding today, absolutely faultless. Marquis and Hopper worked incessantly as well, but there wasn't a bad player in red and white. What a difference a week makes.
When I was 7 and first showed an interest in football, supporting
@LincolnCity_FC
was seen as such a stigma my Dad made me support a 'big' club too, so I wouldn't get picked on.
There's not a kid in Lincoln who will be made to choose a big club anymore.
We are Imps.
Lots of love and mutual respect between Plymouth and City fans on social media today. Both contributed to an atmosphere and game that gave value for money from the first minute to the last.
Can I just bring to people's attention the actions of Alan Searby, a farmer in Louth. He has had his employees out delivering 25kg bags of potatoes to houses in the local area, free of charge, for weeks now. I'm not sure the motivation behind it, but hats off to him and his team
I've woken up and the realisation of what we're achieving has hit me like a roundhouse right from Conor McGregor. This is the most successful period in my club's history. We're living it. I'm just delighted I can share it with my Dad, these are days I'll remember forever.
We're in the middle of the biggest crisis to face lower league football in its history and somehow we're in it with optimism, belief and hope. Thank you
@cliven7
@liamjscully
@jaywright1969
Michael Appleton, Jez George and everyone at our club making it possible ⚪🔴⚪🔴
I feel such relief at tonight's performance. It felt like the team were proving they are better than the last few games have shown. It also silences my pessimism, which is just born out of fear. I feared we were regressing against Camb but the boys came out fighting 🔴⚪⚽⚪🔴
This Lincoln City team take the piss. Three first team midfielders out today (McGrandles, Hamilton and Mandroiu), keeper out at last minute and still record a fifth straight win. Unreal momentum.
Outstanding point. With five forwards out, new signings to come in I expected to be wanting a bit going forward, but we've showed massive character. Last season we concede and lose that game.
I'm just turning off for the day, so will write about Harry leaving tomorrow. Got to say though, I feel a bit gutted, he's a top lad, a good player and a big part of our success over the last five years.
I've rarely heard
@dancowley1
happier. Forget the red cards, that's a truly heroic performance and he's very emotional about it. Last week I was proud, this week I'm incredibly proud.
This win capped off an interesting week. Players go, its regrettable, but then the likes of Edun and Melbourne suddenly stick their hands in the air to be counted. Two HUGE wins, putting us in a great position. Such a good feeling tonight.
I find it sad Michael believes he'll never be held in the same esteem as Danny and Nicky. It must have been hard coming into a club that they helped shape. If he delivers on his promise of Championship football by the time he leaves, I'm pretty sure he'll be held in high esteem!
Super season which has ended in defeat by a better team. I'm not buying into the rubbish referee rhetoric, promotion clearly would have been too early. I'm hurting now but will write tomorrow.
I'm still proud of my team and excited for the future.
I might be alone here, but I think it's right games are postponed tomorrow as a mark of respect. This isn't just some public figure who has passed: this is a moment in history, something hugely significant and sad for the country.
I see the stuff around ownership at Coventry, and every other crisis club over the last ten years or so, and cannot fathom how we got lucky with our chairman, and indeed investors. We're managed well off the field, and we should be thankful.
Bradford City 🤝 Danny Cowley
Perfect for Dan and Nick. Sleeping giant waiting to be galvanised, strong squad, perfect fanbase to be awakened by the brother's skills
Ben House arriving means we now have seven strikers on our books: House, Draper, Hopper, Marquis, Cullen, Makama and Maguire.
Somewhere, Big Keith is looking down smiling with pride. You can never have too many strikers was his mantra.
You might be concerned about today, but don't be. Lincoln have never lost to Sunderland in March.
Ok, we've never played Sunderland in March, but still, you can't dispute the stat.
If the EFL do rule matches have to be played behind closed doors, I hear several League Two clubs will launch a legal challenge. On the basis it gives Forest Green an advantage, because they're used to playing in front of empty stands.
I don't care what anyone thinks of this post. -I would love Danny and Nicky to smash League Two next season. Seeing the band slowly getting back together there is fascinating.
Unpopular opinion: hope
@htafc
do Forest today. DC and NC are our most successful managers ever and helped restore our club to the third tier. I dont like Huddersfield after 2003/04, but I want those two to succeed because they deserve it.
@cliven7
Clive, on behalf of pretty much everyone, thank you, to you, the board and staff for bringing us nights like this. You're all superb custodians of a truly special club.
City fans - whatever will be, will be. I'm not confident at all, it's us and the play-offs, and history hasn't been kind. However, history is all about was has happened, not what CAN happen. Enjoy the game and whatever the outcome, be proud of the lads for this tremendous season.
