Our beautiful teacher and friend Mrs Philippart. Our whole school community is devastated. We continue to send love and prayers to her family. Please see the family tribute below
Remembering our friend Mrs Philippart. Funeral Mass for Mrs Philippart will be live-streamed from Our Lady Star of the Sea on Tuesday 21st April at 9:30am. Please light a candle on this day to remember our friend Mrs Philippart.
Good luck to Mrs Davies as she takes on her new role as Headteacher of St Illtyd’s and to Mr Hampson as he takes on a new pastoral role. We will miss you
We delivered Christmas hampers today. Thank you to our school community who allowed us to share with our school families this year. A year like no other, but an opportunity to think of others.
Our Blue Peter badges have arrived. Fantastic achievement for our school to be one of twelve schools chosen to have children as judges for the Blue Peter book awards.

At St Joseph’s we love books and we are passionate about reading. As the staff are really missing reading to the children each day, we thought we would launch ‘Amser Stori’. Each Monday we will upload a member of staff reading one of their favourite stories. Keep your eyes peeled
Thank you to all our children for a fantastic first week back. They have settled so quickly into new routines it’s like we have never been away. I couldn’t be prouder of our wonderful children
We are so proud of all our beautiful children. You’ve made me so happy to see you all but miss you soooo much. What wonderful talents! We miss you back via

Our children continue to impress us with their wonderful behaviour, work and friendship. We are so proud of them all. Not easy times, but it’s lovely to see the children doing their very best.
Happy retirement to Mrs Morgan and Mrs Horgan. It was wonderful to share memories of St Joseph’s through the ages. What a wonderful legacy you have left our school community
Honoured to have been awarded School of Sanctuary today. Proud of our children from Y5 and our whole school community for their commitment to being a welcoming school for all.

Mrs Smith will be leaving St Joseph’s on Friday for a change in her career. A quick flashback to the start of the pandemic when Mrs Smith was kept busy delivering meals across Swansea. We will all miss you Mrs Smith!
A text has been sent to confirm we will close at 3:25pm on Friday 20th March. Thank you for your tremendous support for our St Joseph’s community from all the staff and governors.
We hope you have enjoyed open evening. We would have loved to see you in person of course but hope the system worked well. Our Y6 captains have prepared a virtual tour of school for you - published tomorrow!
Disney Parents: All the children are in bed, all settled and most are fast asleep. We had a busy day and all the children were an absolute credit to you and are loving every minute. Early start tomorrow for rehearsals. Good night and God Bless.
