A Large bird marabou stork finally gets an ambulance ride after suffering a fracture.
The bird, whose home on Uhuru Highway was destroyed to pave way for express highway, limped to St John Ambulance where she got a free ride to Raptor Trust for HDU care.

Earlier today St John Ambulance conducted a road safety/Accident drill at Lari Nyambari market along the Nairobi Nakuru Highway to test disaster preparedness of emergency response stakeholders in the area.
At least 9 people feared dead, 58 injured, property worth millions destroyed after a fire outbreak at Nairobi's Gikomba market at 2AM. Victims rushed to KNH.

An LPG tanker that explode along Limuru Mutarakwa rd near Ngenia High School has been contained. The accident involved 8 other vehicles which have been completely burnt. No fatalities reported and St John Ambulance volunteers have rushed all casualties to nearby hospitals.
The bird is now in the safe hands of Raptor Rehabilitation Trust Kenya Who are currently giving it medical care until full recovery before it can be released.
22 passengers, many of them students have sustained injuries when a matatu they were travelling in collided head-on with a van at Karai area near Keroche along the Nrb-Nkr Highway. The casualties received on-site First Aid and were taken to Naivasha Referral Hospital

St John Ambulance evacuated from Tuesday protests 17 casualties, 2 in critical condition to KNH, Nairobi West and Mbagathi Hospitals. 43 treated on-site at various first aid points around the City and 29 attended at a clinic set up at the St John Ambulance HQ next to Bunge Tower.

33 passengers have this morning been injured following a road accident at Soweto, Kinungi area along the Nairobi Nakuru Highway. The accident involved 7 private cars, a 14 seater Matatu and a truck. One person is feared dead. The accident has caused huge traffic snarl up.

We wish to commend our volunteers from Kinungi rescue centre for saving the lives of a female driver and two minors involved in a road accident a few minutes ago at the Kinungi stretch along Nairobi Nakuru Highway. The three victims have been rushed to Naivasha Hospital.

St John Ambulance Paramedics, Nairobi Fire department and a volunteer diver Samuel Kiarie have rescued a man who had slipped and fell into an open excavation full of water in Upper Hill Nairobi(Pinnacle Tower site). The man is safe and has been rushed to KNH for medical check up.
2 motorists have been rushed to Kijabe Hospital for medical attention following a road accident involving 4 Vehicles at Kinungi area along Nairobi Nakuru Highway. Our First Responders at Kinungi attended to 6 others who had sustained minor injuries and in shock.
