On god it's finally happening. v0.0.1 of the Dailies Tracker is now up for download! This is the very first build and it's probably going to be rough around the edges. Sorry it didn't come out earlier, I was in London for a week. The download link is in the replies!
A little post before I head to bed for the night. Thank you EVERYONE who is replying to the original post, I didn't expect that much interaction with it and it makes me happy that people are looking out for it. Y'all are great 💙
Status update!! There are 3 main features I'm gonna complete for it's out into phase 1.
1. Actually make rewards fully tracked so you can see how much you've done over time!
2. Make the calendar not just for show so you can go back and view your history over time!
3. Credits :)
I know it's been a day or two since my last update, but I decided to take it a bit further (sorry, I know I said this was a Day 2 item but I really couldn't help myself). INTRODUCING: custom rewards! You can either stick with the defaults or add more!
I should also mention this here: it will be completely free and open source. At the moment it's being built on desktop but if the need arises, it can be portable to web. The big reason for desktop is A: having a window that you can control and B: there will be a history!

Because there seems to be some confusion: the app is NOT complete yet! The source code is public mainly for nerds to poke around at but once it's done, each respective platform (Windows, Linux, Mac) will have their own separate app download link!
Question for those that find this. Would the dailies tracker be better as a website or as a desktop app? I thought desktop would be better because it'd let you keep the app focused while doing things in browser but I wanna hear from others!

Oh god oh god oh god. I woke up to a LOT more followers.
Welcome! My name is Spyce and you probably guessed it but I'm a programmer. I'm awful at streaming (and tweeting really) but I'll do my best 🫠

I know I've been quiet on the dailies tracker stuff for the past...month? Sorry all, I've been trying to make sure this stuff is perfect so what happened the first time doesn't happen again 😭

A LOT of people have been helping out with translations so far but the system I currently have in place is more geared towards those with experience with GitHub. To make things easier for people, I've created a Google Form that you can submit!
Due to my habit of using experimental tech to make lives easier, I'm biting the bullet and reworking the app from the ground up. The UI will not change but it does have some benefits like getting an ios and android app out sooner 🫠
Ok it looks like I've figured out an issue. It uses sqlite3 to store all of these configurations but some systems don't like that (mainly Mac lol). If it works for you right now, awesome. If not, keep an eye out while I figure out a fix. Thanks for your patience everyone 🫠

I love the appreciation but I could never accept money or donations for this. BUT if you're feeling generous, please donate even a small amount to the Lymphoma Research Foundation! (or any other non-profit org you know)

@bbluberri_pie
First round will be desktop with a fast-follow on a website version. I've built out the whole thing *so far* to be a drop-in version for web, just need to decide how I'm gonna host!
@bbluberri_pie
As for a native app for mobile, Android is a lot easier than Apple due to app store constraints. As you can probably guess, the icons and fonts *might* be what prevents it from getting in the App Store
@Patoxi900
Unfinished but it lets people go in early and see what the code is like! Really it's to give people peace of mind that their info isn't getting sold anywhere or stored in places they don't consent!

For someone who has "crushing negativity" in their bio, you sure as fuck ain't doin a good job at it, my dude.
@nyanyanfei
That's why I make stuff like this :) it'll be out in the coming days (I wanted tonight but now that resources from the original artist are in the works, I want it to be perfect!)

@MyuVT
you say "learn to read" yet nowhere in the original tweet was she begging. Asking for an opportunity is NOT begging. When you apply for a job, are you begging to get the job? When you ask a cashier at a restaurant for food, are you begging? Fuck outta here with your negativity.
who are some vtubers that aren't sexualized anime girls with big hubba wabbas?
the medium is insanely cool to me, but i feel the design space is so crowded with one singular horny idea. i wanna see some SICK ORIGINAL designs
show me some cool people making cool shit
@babbieshie
The current app, no, but if enough people are interested I could look at making a mobile version! Android is easier to get out than Apple due to licensing but we shall see 🙏🙏
@monokrtom
I can't guarantee it because technically it uses webview 2 on windows. If you can figure out how to install that on windows 7, it should work fine!
@smallaadult
Actually it was someone else's original post! They have their resources published on figjam but they did what I could never do which is design lol I'm just a really fast programmer :)

's new form, I commissioned us!! I guess my contractual spouse is handsome or whatever😒
@rinrenran_
the source will be up shortly but it's built on Wails (go back-end, web front-end)! Personally it's better than Electron but really I'm only using it so people don't have to worry about setting up PWAs!
@SleepyB4stard
It *should* work out of the gate with either as it's built on Go 1.21 and webkit2! I don't have either of those on my machines and the Linux distribution is built against Ubuntu 18. That being said, if it doesn't work for you, let me know and I'll fix it!!!
@momosmel
I could never ask you to do it for free but once the source code is up I'll be accepting translations for it all! Seeing people get excited about it really makes me happy :)
Reaching out to yall because I need help. Does anybody know of someone who does reference sheets and is open for commissioning? Planning a redesign that's a little...spicey 👀
Tonight was a BLAST. Thanks everyone that stopped by, and thanks
