I don't really get it. Other cars hold other cars up a million times more than a cyclist, horse rider or pedestrian does. However motorists seem to direct their anger at vulnerable road users for slowing them down with more venom than those causing the actual problem. Why?
Have you had a car pass you so closely when you've been cycling that you've been able to tap the car as a warning only to have the driver stop and kick off because you touched their car? Happened to me when I was towing a toddler. She said I'm bad mother and should be on pavement
My four year old just shouted "You've got this mummy!" whilst I was on the turbo. I stopped immediately told her we are a

family and will have none of the peloton rubbish under my roof. I explained the correct encouragement is "ride on."
Poor lad. Has to "put his life on pause" whilst he serves 3 years. He killed someone in a hit and run whilst on bail for maiming someone in another hit and run. Three years. Let that sink in. He killed someone and ran away.

I sent them a private YouTube link to a close pass. I deliberately didn't click on it. Sent traffic summons the link. To this day still has zero views but I got a letter saying no evidence to prosecute. THEY DIDN'T EVEN WATCH IT.
Tried out the new commute today. To avoid getting killed by a lorry opted for the blue signed cycle network route home. What a shitty country we live in for cycling infrastructure. A long video but watch to end for the grand finale of shite.
Just did a fuel cost calculator thingy. Apparently by cycling to work I've saved £45 this week. I'm thinking probably nearer £30 but I'm having that! 120 miles powered by me!
Accidentally booked off what I thought was half term week but was, in fact, still term time. 'That's ok' I thought 'I'll sort out all the housework and jobs.' 3 days in I've done a shit tonne of cycling and the washing basket is overflowing.
Had a gold service of my MTB at
@Halfords_uk
rode my mtb after. Couldn't figure out why it was riding so badly so my friend looked at it. Pads so worn I'd even gone through the spring clip. I would of thought at very least this would have been checked. I knew it was a bad idea.
Do you know how I don't want my cycling wear promoted to me? Like Porn. At what point is this ok?
@ASSOS_LDN
Stuff like this puts off so many potential customers.

I probably let myself down in my behaviour that day - but it was the worst close pass I'd experienced. Putting a child's life in danger made me see red and I could barely control myself.
Been a bit grounded due to snow, childcare and other commitments recently. I've done so much zwift and buggy running. I tell you what I haven't missed? Arseholes trying to knock me off my bike in their cars. Not missed that one bit.
First bit of bling of the season. 3rd place lady at the Riverside 10km. I had a really bad race and almost stopped after 1.5 miles so this was a great pick me up at the line and reward for not giving up!
Though e-scooters coming hurtling towards me on the bike path scare me, I'm pleased to see they keep increasing in numbers. This way, eventually, councils will have their hand forced and at some stage have to provide some infrastructure.
@GuLinux
Do you ever think though - motorists have dashcam to prove who is wrong in collisions. Cyclists have them so their family knows how they were taken out and hopefully get some closure.
