If Kermit Davis is not SEC Coach of the Year, the award means nothing. The turnaround from last year to this was unreal and completely due to coaching.
Ole Miss starting cornerback in 2021 Deantre Prince has signed an NIL deal with Greer Law Firm in Tupelo and The Ole Miss Spirit. Prince has two years of eligibility remaining and is expected to be one of the starting CBs in 2022. Congrats Tre!
No wonder Mississippi is 50th in many areas. We are burning and our so-called leaders are fiddling. And no, this is not about sporting events. It’s about right and wrong and having a symbol that honors and represents all Mississippians.
Favorite Ole Miss play of 2010 decade? Mine was Senquez Golson pick to secure 23-17 win over Bama in ‘14. The roar of the crowd from the review verifying he was in bounds was deafening.
I just tickled myself thinking about how my friend Stan Sandroni, if he was with us, would be cussing and fussing the virus as if it could hear him. We meet so few true “characters” in life. Cherish them.
Looks like
@Lane_Kiffin
is putting together a staff
@OleMissFB
with some real heat 🔥 that will challenge any staff in the SEC. Just two more spots to fill.
I’m really tired of the political back and forth about this pandemic. Things probably could have been done better by everyone involved, but the enemy is the corona virus, not those making decisions. People infected don’t give a damn about R and D.
I have been very critical of our leaders in the legislature previously but today they showed courage and did the right thing to move Mississippi forward. Kudos to them for voting to take the divisive flag down and start the process for a new more inclusive one!
Ole Miss student-athletes and athletic department staff members are set to have a peaceful march for change and unity Saturday morning on campus, we have learned. No route is known at this time.
I’m really glad LSU started their season against Mississippi State, Vandy and Missouri, two of those at home. Poor things needed a break after last season. Meanwhile, Ole Miss got the easy road of two Top 5 teams and a returning bowl team in Ky.
Breein Tyree deserves your attendance tonight at The Pavilion to celebrate the last home game of his sparkling Reb career as Ole Miss takes on Mizzou at 6:30.
What is all the fuss about the no-call yesterday? SEC fans are used to that every time we tee it up against the SEC office, uh, I mean Bama. That was child’s play yesterday, comparatively. Cue the Bama rebuttals in 3..2..1.
Was hoping For a return of
#44
. Nice NIL package presented for him to come back but he felt it’s time to move on. Outstanding player and representative of Ole Miss. Thanking him.
At 2 p.m. central tomorrow, the first football game of 2020 for everyone in the SEC will be announced on the SEC Network.
Then, at 6 p.m., the rest of the schedule for the SEC schools will be announced on the SEC Network.
Why do it this way? No idea.
Those dunks yesterday by T Davis, especially his, and Shuler were as emphatic, athletic and acrobatic as they come. I’ve watched them dozens of time each and marvel.
