Running a spline sim directly from the edges of a cloth siim has some interesting opportunities to blend cloth and splines together - consider organically building a cloth with dynamic splines and vertex maps - no plugins needed @MaxonVFX

Ya know alot of ppl dont know this but you can melt any object in #C4D with @RealFlowLabs in minutes.. less than a minute to set up, 4 minute to cache this. The added benefit of real liquid solver melting means you get perfect UVs, liquid properties (not fake cloth), and it's

As much as I've enjoyed Xp historically the new @MaxonVFX C4D particles are just so damn fun to play with.. There is still much to be desired but we'll get there - for now just extremely simple and fun sims like this are a blast - using @GSG3D signal to control the flower spline

Hack for an endless plexi style floor in #C4D - use the c4d gradient in the opacity and set it to spherical - make the radius the same as the floor width (or frame coverage) invert the gradient and clamp it - call it a day! You get a perfect falloff with the reflections and

In-render shadow/reflection comp tip: Shadow catchers are ok, they can give you a good sense of flooring and light direction but add a reflection catcher as well.. If you take another floor and move it ever so slightly above the shadow catcher - add a dirt node to the opacity

Pretty simple but cool - a step effector paired with mograph clones along a spline can be a cool way to create quick and easy dimensional light streaks.. use the step effector to drive the scale/opacity falloff/gradient and then just add some motion blur and you're good to go! 🤘

C4D Modelling tip.. first of all ALWAYS get die lines from a client (don't settle), but using a die - extract the fold lines/splines and drop them into the follow splines section in the Remesher - instantly get perfect remeshing with edges aligned directly where you need them -

Question for y'all 3D folk - how do you create liquid swatches effectively. Honestly, it's one of the toughest things to do imo - liquid sims are too messy and dense, height maps are good from certain angles, but honestly taking the time to sculpt has been the only good solution

Using the @MaxonVFX Voronoi generator to slice and dice objects you can easily drive ribbons/confetti from the cross sections (in this case using the @Merkvilson respline + Extrude ) since they wont intersect and you'll get a nice procedural way to turn any object into ribbons

Havent had much time to mess around with #C4D new rigid bodies so I plugged it onto an older Chladni file with some formulas and fields to see how it reacts with 500 fairly unique stones, pretty solid (a bit jittery in parts) they need to enhance the deactivation settings a bit

Fun little Octane tip - when using XYZ - UVW projection, in this case with a gradient, you can use an object or null to drive gradient PSR which is great for animating a gradient in viewport, or simply placing your gradients where you want them @OTOY @RenderToken @MaxonVFX
