We aim to help owners rehome their dogs, or to relinquish to us and take into our care any dogs whose welfare we are concerned for Registered Charity No 1169724
Roo arrived 10 days ago. She was so scared that she would only look at the wall She came to us after being signed over to a vets from a breeding hell hole. Aged 7 so no use to them any more!Multiple litters. Abused & scared only good for making money. Thankfully now in foster ❤️
We took this girl in this morning. They were collecting another dog from the pound and couldn't leave her. Had multiple litters then dumped when no longer needed. Described by them as one of the most traumatised dogs they had seen for a while. She just wants to disappear 😢
To finish another busy week we introduce this gorgeous lot. Four 10 to 12 week old cocker pups found dumped in a box in a car park. Filthy. Smelly. Urine stained . Bellies full of worms.
Their new lives start now. Please meet Moses, Digby, Moose & Iris ❤️❤️
24 hours later and our stray girl has a name and a smile. Named Ettie here she is with her wonderful foster mum Kathy and fellow foster dog Rocher 😊
She's skinny, hardly has any body fur and very anxious BUT is doing so well. She can't get enough attention and fuss ❤️
This gorgeous boy Sam arrived yesterday. Signed over to his vets by his owners to be PTS, as sadly he had to have further surgery resulting in another 8 weeks of rehab on his elbow, which they couldn’t go through again. Thankfully he’s safe and in his foster home now

Pip had found herself as a stray likely dumped. She’s 12 & if not totally blind has very poor vision . Even after 6yrs of spaniel aid taking in dogs like this there are still tears at her treatment and anger that a human being can be so so cruel. You are safe now darling girl
We all need some good news, yes?
Well it is Friday the most popular day to Fail Foster.
I will let Roo tell you herself :)
You will remember her as the sad little girl looking at the wall on arrival in foster. Bit different now 😊

And now its not just the over bred bitches being dumped, its the entire litters. These pups aged approx 8 weeks are also coming into foster. Handed into a dog warden with bellies full of worms and a skin condition believed to be mange. At least they will now get fantastic lives!
Please meet Buddy 🥰
He arrived with us in April 2022. He was intelligent and fast learning and needed a job.He has been going through sniffer dog training with Northumbria police and passed with flying colours to become a fully licensed Police drugs/weapons/cash dog

We did have another failed foster yesterday which I kept from you! Yep it was me 🙈 I’ve fostered approx 250 dogs and this is my 4th FF sadly I lost Rumpole this summer 🌈. Mighty Meg is staying having hand reared her from 21 days how could we let her go and the boys adore her
Meg has come into foster aged 3 weeks to be hand reared as her mum sadly died from complications after birth. She will be looking for her new home in a few weeks time when she is 9 wks as long as she keeps doing well. For now just enjoy the puppy pics. She’s not avail to adopt
This lad had his eye removed the other day due to several issues including an issue with the optic nerve causing him discomfort & pain. He’s mending well & will soon be back up for adoption hoping losing an eye wont put anyone off. Its certainly not affected him :)
Watson 🥰
Juno arrived from the stray dog system found wandering likely dumped. She is about 1 and had already lost her eye but the op had not been done correctly or she was born with one eye and an empty eye socket. She has now had her eye socket cleaned out and stitched up correctly ❤️
This young man will be available for adoption any day, please watch the website for his listing. He is on the Surrey/Sussex border and just 8 months old. No more info at the moment

Please check out where you are getting your puppies from! Dolly went in for her spay which had to be aborted when the vet realised that most of her internal organs were attached after several botched C Sections that were clearly not performed by a vet and sewn with string 😫
Heartbreaking We had to let this gorgeous boy go yesterday.
6 months old & cancer so aggressive he was only diagnosed 9 days ago and today we said goodbye. Ziggy will always have a very special place in our hearts, run free special boy, Ziggy Stardust, we will miss you very much
We have as of today taken in 3348 spaniels. That is over 1 dog every day. We now have an admin team of over 40 / fosterers and volunteers nearly reaching 500. Times are currently hard, but we have always had such amazing support. So thank you all
IT IS OUR 8TH BIRTHDAY today 🥰
This is Gloria . People of a certain age will be singing a certain song all day 😂 Gloria was another unclaimed stray who has come to us after serving her time under the dog warden. Female of a certain age dumped when no longer any use. She is just stunning and a lovely nature
As the end of 2022 approaches, all of us at Spaniel Aid would like to wish our followers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
It’s been a rather busy year as we’ve taken in nearly 700 dogs! We couldn’t do this without your continued support so THANK YOU!

Please meet Bandit :) He is a little 8 week old cocker that has come into foster from another rescue. He looks a bit different as he has juvenile cellulitis (puppy strangles). This is not contagious and is totally treatable. He is otherwise a perfectly normal naughty pup 🥰
Stunning Bailey is off to his forever home this weekend 🤞 he was surrendered due to being grumpy and trying to bite. After a vet check he was found to be in pain now that’s all sorted he is a fantastic happy boy 💗 be good Bailey so pleased we could help you

Ltf Lady Clementine aka Fatty is today celebrating a massive weight gain - such a relief after a dodgy month or two 🎉.
She’s now a whopping 14.7kg! Anyone for a fish jerky cube to celebrate? 🤢😁
Sadly we had to say goodbye to Stimpy and let him gain his wings. Previous back injury meant he couldn’t sit down or go to the toilet. Although extremely sad it’s the kindest thing we can do for him. His foster cuddled him and showed him love all the way to the rainbow bridge 🌈
Darcy is 12 & very sadly has a prostrate tumour poor teeth & arthritis. however a typical spaniel raring to go with his tail wagging. He will remain with us for how ever long he has left with his fosterer who never hesitated to offer to care for him for however long he has left
Meet Rufus! He is a loving, gentle and funny boy. Despite this he has been overlooked. He loves the company of other dogs and just wants to be with you or cuddled up next to you. He can be nervous of cars. Currently in Oxfordshire.
Little Meg is now 7 weeks old, she had a rough start losing her mum at 2 days old and being full of worms but she’s a little fighter. All her parasite tests have now come back clear 💕 photos are her stealing her big brothers food, bed and putting her head in Ted’s mouth 😳
Having passed all his initial assessments Dexter has gone to be a detection dog, this highly intelligent live wire boy will have an amazing future. Be good dexter and find lots of bed bugs 💗
Lady Clem has sadly had both eyes removed. Not a decision I ever wanted to make & I admit I’ve struggled with this as her human, but it’s the best (and only) option for her health & well-being. And ultimately that’s what we’re here for… she’s still my beautiful Clemmie ❤️.
Little Peggie growing up fast 💞 peg was surrendered to us at 21 days old having lost her mum at 2 days old and then aspirating along with her sibling that sadly didn’t recover. She is now 3 months old, settled in her forever home and a little land shark 😉
Bella is all packed and ready for her new home. She’s got her smelly bed, food, toys and some of Megan’s pupcakes, she’s even taken some for her new sister Molly. Let’s hope she’s a good girl and has a lovely life with her new mum Sally and sister cocker spaniel Molly. 🐾💖🐾
Many of you, will have heard of "the farm" Well the farm was not really a place it was a person and that person was Maxine Lower. Heartbreakingly we got the dreadful news on Monday that she had lost her life in a terrible accident 💔 Our condolences go to all her family & friends
Clementine is just back from the vets where she has had some test, we are awaiting the results but she now weighs 12.4kg that’s nearly a whopping 2kg weight gain 💪 come on little girl 💗
