George Kirby. If you don’t love that kid, something’s wrong with you. In trouble and he gets out of it. 7 IP, six hits, no walks, five strikeouts. Just 92 pitches. Incredible. You’d be hard pressed to find many starts better by a 23 year old.

Julio Rodriguez definitely is looking like he deserves a spot on the opening day roster. .360/.429/.720 in 25 AB, 3 2B, 2 HR, and 3 SB. They asked him to prove he should have a spot, and he's been doing just that for the Mariners

Julio Rodriguez is really close to having the 4th 25-25 season in Mariners history, currently 23-24. A-Rod back in 1998, then Mike Cameron in 2001 and 2002. Side note, @_mcameron44 was a beast in Seattle, averaging 22 HR and 26 SB in his four years here. Loved watching that guy!

For everyone worried about Kelenic's hitting, it's worth noting he has been stellar on defense this year. 0.5 dWAR so far. A MASSIVE improvement over last year. He and Julio are both having great starts on defense!

How much would you pay Shohei Ohtani to come to the Mariners? I think a realistic offer could definitely be something like 9-486. $54M a year. It's hard to fathom. The MVP got $40 AAV and the Cy Young winner got $43.3 (short term). Seems like a ton... but could still be a deal

I just can't get over how good Julio Rodriguez is playing. If you take his last 70 games and project it over a full season, he would hit 35 2B, 35 HR, steal 39 bases, and hit .301/.357/.541!
