@simonharris_mbd I've said it many times & I'll keep saying it. I did everything by the book during pregnancy but my boobs just DIDN'T WORK despite the midwives & HVs helping. There's a multitude of reasons why formula is chosen, it's not laziness.

@mnp_47 @itsnashflynn My daughter when she was 4 would get upset at the old man with beard in her room. When she went to her dad's I explained to her dead grandfather that she could see him, it scared her and could he drop by when she was asleep instead. She never mentioned him again.

@fesshole I had a friend who frequently drove after heavy drinking. If I ever got the chance I would hide her keys somewhere like the sugar pot and she would have to phone me in the morning to get them back. Must have saved her and other's lives numerous times. We're not friends any more.

@invitinghistory Even as an undergraduate I found authors who are held in such esteem and yet when you check their sources - very dodgy. One source you can't track because it 'disappeared' over time but is used repeatedly in other's work 🤷‍♀️ It's not even questioned!

@Morbidful There was a similar case in UK where the parents left their disabled daughter to pretty much rot to death in her bed due to their laziness. They fed her takeaways & cake til she became obese, stopped taking her to the toilet & used puppy mats. It was absolutely heartbreaking.

@TudorChick1501 My sister died two weeks before Diana. I was sent to stay with some family friends who decided it was appropriate to all watch Diana's funeral right after I'd been to my sister's. I won't be watching the Queen's because it hits a trauma nerve I didn't know existed until now.

@fesshole They've built some by us, half mil each. 90% of the day they're in the shade of a mountain and in winter, a constantly damp area because it doesn't get sun. View is of the asbestos roof of the local garage. Just one's lived in...by the builder.

@jonathanmb32 I hadn't seen the film when they awarded the Oscar posthumously and I cynically thought it was done just out of respect. When I saw the film I was blown away and it's one of my favourite comfort films, he absolutely without a doubt deserved it.

@SamWhyte My g grandad was raging alcoholic because he lost his wife after childbirth of their second who also died, the neighbours raised my grandad. He grew up angry at everything & abusive, my nan a timid mouse, my dad ended up abusive.
