@chet911j @Iraqveteran8888 The paper patch increases the diameter of the bullet nitwit. As Quigley shot his 45-110 ammo up, he didn't throw away the empty cases as most in that era didn't. Drawn brass cases were reused. His problem was finding a bullet that would stay in the case. A .450 " diameter
