@WrestleCringe I worked in Tennessee and the Carolinas. Our promoters absolutely had black stars that got heat because they spoke openly about the racism in the south. They pushed those buttons purposely. You know what fans couldn’t do? Sling slurs or hate. Even back then that got them ejected.
