We personally would recommend that a new date be selected for the Gimvitational that can support a four-day event. This will be difficult given how late in the cycle we are finding out. Alternatively, a one-day event is possible without impinging on Crown and COST.

How did it happen? On November 10, 2021, Crown 2 booked the weekend of June 18–19 in Provo, Utah. It agreed to share that weekend with COST in early December after COST ran into an unanticipated venue conflict. Both events are Saturday/Sunday.

Probably the biggest news out of this: GOML slides back up to May next year. @GOMLsPlan has a history in May, running in that month in 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020*. It took place in July in 2017, 2022, and 2023. All the May GOMLs except 2015 ran on Victoria Day weekend.

Going forward in '23, we're changing some of our regional reporting in the US to break up some of the largest regions we report: The Midwest region has been split into Mid-America, Upper Midwest, and Great Lakes. The Southeast region has split into Mid-South and Southeast.
