For this puzzle I have to open the door by pressing the buttons down with two candles, but I need to get one to the other side for a further puzzle
So I turn myself and one candle into a portal and add a delayed push to the other to pass through one, and come out of the player
modelled beebz from demon turf in 3d. i wanted to make her really low poly to match the games 3d art, while keeping the same design as the original 2d sprites

Every mechanic I make a list of systems that might break it, like
what if you duplicate;
-A portal
-A rewinding object
-An NPC
-An object with a spell attached
-Size changing objects
-Size changed objects
Automatons
-Yourself
This one fire brazier is the most complicated object in my whole game
To make the burning wood hot, and the rest of the brazier normal they have to be two separate objects
But now I can do things like, make an object both the entry and exit portal

Replaced my games most boring spell with a new version
Now casting the Proxy spell creates a floating hand. This will copy and cast spells whenever the player casts a spell ... It gets out of hand quite quickly

Water only functions as a trigger point on the waters surface, this controls entering and exiting water. But if the player swims to the left and right of this point them can swim in space

Blockout for a puzzle design
To have the button on the ceiling pressed the player has to create an automated system to continuesly press the button

If the player grabs onto a door as they stand on the button to open it, they will be pulled up with the door and then step off the button. The door will then slam down and move the player back onto the button that opens the door
... I want to use this as a puzzle somewhere
updated my end of level up to now count collectables, player deaths, and time taken to finish the level

(you even get a shiny medal if you finish a level fast enough (i did not :c ))
Previously combining the elements 'magnetic' and 'remove' would do nothing as the game would process this as adding a magnet and instantly destroying it
this has been changed so the elements combine and create a 'broken magnet' this will cause nearby objects to float and slam
Duplicates of the player will have special interactions because on there elemental states
If one player is on fire and touches the duplicate that is transformed into a puddle they get extinguished

When you turn into snow you can roll around to grow in size and roll over objects and walls shorter than you
