Since promotion, we've lost 47 league games, 39 since New Year's Day last year, conceded and 145 goals. We got rid of Colin Garlick, DC, the good characters and we've recruited terribly in pretty much every window. Yes relegation hurts , but we can't say it's not deserved. #PVFC

It's been exactly a year since Connor Hall joined Colchester and our decline pretty much started as soon as he left. The impact he had on our team was astronomical, especially in League 2 when we won promotion. For me he's still the best January signing we've ever made. #PVFC

In the 12 league games we've had so far, we've played Bolton, Portsmouth, Barnsley, Peterborough, Sheffield Wednesday and Derby, all teams who are expected to be up there come the end of the season, so I think 14th is a respectable position considering the start we've had. #PVFC

Since John Rudge left, we've only had 3 experienced football league managers; Brian Horton, Micky Adams and Darrell Clarke and all of them brought success to the club, so for me it's obvious that we need to go down this route again, because the cheap option doesn't work. #PVFC

A couple of weeks ago everything was rosey, we were 10th in the league and 4 points off the play-offs, now all of a sudden after a couple of bad results, people are saying we need a host of new signings and doing their usual scapegoating 🥱. Get a grip. #PVFC
