On a personal note....over the weekend my wife Holly and I became proud grandparents for the first time. Nolan Russell Brinda was born in Sydney Australia to my son Nick and his wife Laura. And yes he was named after Nolan Ryan...the back story later!

Today we lost a terrific broadcaster and family man in Mike Trivisono. Politics aside Mike truly understood how radio worked and fostered a genuine large loyal audience. Contrary to popular belief we were not enemies and would laugh when we got together on that perception. RIP!

Today can’t be any sadder with the passing of our friend and peer Matt Loede. He fought a courageous battle against cancer the last 2 years. We are all better people today for knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will forever be missed!
