Woke up to a text from 1 of my best friends of over 30 years. He's in the hospital awaiting surgery for colon cancer he didn't know he had. went for a colonoscopy yesterday. hes waiting for them to cut out 8 inches of colon. TIME is precious don't wait 2 tell people how you feel

@LisaBritton I was in that situation for 6 years. stayed for my daughter. When I told my therapist about it she told me there's no help for men because it doesn't really happen. and yes I changed docs after that. I've met lots of men in that situation since and all the same answers. no help.
