56 Days Amarnathji Yatra to commence from 28th June. It will conclude on 22nd August on Raksha Bandhan. Yatra to be held as per COVID SOP. Decision was taken by Amarnathji Shrine Board at it 40th Board meeting at Rajbhawan Jammu.
Sh. Nitishwar Kumar, CEO SASB inspected various facilities for Yatris in Jammu. Directions were issued for providing better, safe and hygienic arrangement. Yatris shall not face any inconvenience. DC Jammu, Addl CEO SASB, Director Tourism, ADC Jammu accompanied him.
It has come to the notice of Shrine Board that some news agencies are wrongly publicising that Yatra would be only through Baltal Route.
It is clarified that No such decision has been made. Shrine Board has planned for Both the routes. Jai Bholenath

The Board had commenced registrations on 1st April, and the arrangements were on track since February, 2021
Srinagar July 28,2021: Today afternoon, due to cloudburst in higher reaches, there was gush of water near the Holy Cave area and the nallah adjoining the Holy Cave started flowing heavily. The joint team of Shrine Board, Police, Army acting swiftly evacuated all the staff present
for a successful conduct of the pilgrimage which is expected to start from 28th June, 2021. The decision has been taken to check any unnecessary gatherings.
The CEO further said in order to respect the religious sentiments of millions of devotees worldwide, SASB has made all the arrangements for carrying out traditional religious rituals at the Holy Cave.

close to the Nallah. No loss of human lives or property is reported. As per the latest report, the Holy Cave shrine is safe ; the situation is under control and the flow of water in the nallah is normal. The SASB and the administration is closely monitoring the situation.
