My "VR Ambilight" mock up is done, it feels ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, the "Fake FOV" boost is so trippy, I just need to diffuse the little better then it's time to 3D print a fully enclosed facial interface. @Thrilluwu Orion club pops with this! Making one for the Index now.

Really shines on the Valve Index! Will only need a little bit of on LED diffusion! Going to start 3D printing an enclosed unit that will plug into the front of the Index! 😍😍

Added some more smoothing options to my SteamVR Add-on, getting it as lightweight as possible! So far you get: Brightness control (auto links to SteamVR brightness control) Smoothing control Accessibility options (colour blindness) Pretty happy with this diffuser design.

Hmm, I put my RMA request for my @MetaQuestVR Quest 3, 8 days ago. It's still sat on my shelf, with no RMA instructions or any indication of what they're going to do about it. It shouldn't take this long... Especially since it tried to set itself on fire! 🤬

With wireless VR really starting to hit off, I would LOVE to see a "hot swappable" battery system that has a tiny battery built in, so when you are swapping batteries it can still operate for like 2 mins max, meaning you don't have to start your headset up again!

@TheGraphicsFrog So you need @VRDesktop for PCVR Enable its passthrough function. Then you find a world in VRChat called "greenscreen" (there are quite a few to choose from) And that's pretty much it, be cool to get it on native Quest versions too.

The urge to see what a flexible LCD display would look like behind my diffusers, is strong. Found a few that would fit the bill, but would it hit performance too hard? The current LED peripheral method has no impact on performance and it gives a nice boost. 🤔

With all the hype with head haptics in the PSVR2, do I put a couple of audio exciters inside my Starlight project? There's a hidden jack in the Index 👀 An audio exciter turns the surface into a speaker, could tune it for low range rumble!

Ok, went from a 5600X to a 5800X3D not thinking it would do too much, I was wrong. It has slashed frame times by half and pretty much doubled my FPS in VR and simulation games. THE best upgrade gains I've seen in a very long time.
