Like most of us, I collect jerseys that take me back to my youth. I remember dragging my Mam to every sports shop in Dublin in search of one special shirt, the 94 Campos, but no joy. Well, just the 27 years later and I finally have it in my hands. This is my grail, I’m chuffed!

Cork City ‘93 ⚫️🟡=🤤 A shirt I’ve been on hunt for for a looong time, chuffed to finally get my hands on it. One of the best colourways ever seen on the classic Adidas Equipment template, combined with arguably the greatest looking sponsor of all time makes for a very happy me.

My wife saw my @LFC ‘91 and ‘92 home shirts earlier, gave out that I had more than one of the same jersey. I told her they’re similar designs but from different season, she went away happy. Good thing she didn’t check the wardrobe where I keep most of my 90s duplicates 🤫 #LFC

Well my eBay bargain has landed quicker than expected. A mint condition, original 1985 #LFC track top. Must never have been worn in its 36 year in existence as it’s perfect. Those shoulder stripes and the sleeve trefoil 🤤 So chuffed to add this one to the collection.

I had a surreal day at work today. Producing a show I created with @MCATEER4 on as a guest. An absolute gentleman and unbelievably good craic. Don’t think 12 year old, Liverpool fan boy me would believe the above statement if I told him. Today was a good day.

Safe to say I wasn’t expecting to walk into Elverys today and leave with 10 long sleeve, player spec, BNWT dead stock 2010 away @IrelandFootball shirts. Was a sight to behold seeing them on the rail ☘️ Just need the keeper’s shirt and I can kit out a full team (not all for me!)

Storage boxes: A necessary evil. Went looking for a particular shirt in this box. Couldn’t find it but I was greeted by these 2 stunners. Makes me sad that they’re currently residing in a plastic tub until I figure out a new display for my shirts.

Had one of those rare moments recently - instead of an experienced collector telling me I had a fake I assumed was real, they told me the replica I thought I had was in fact a player spec shirt! Main difference being the larger Carlsberg logo and single stitched patches. Result!

Delighted to add the ridiculously pretty long sleeve, player spec version of the @FAIreland 98/99 away shirt to the replica version I have. That @UmbroIreland sleeve taping is spectacular, and easily 3 times as nice when it’s 3 times as long. Cheers for this beauty @TsShirtsFC !

Next out of the envelope is an #LFC 87/88 home shirt. The trefoil and Liver bird jacquard blows my mind, and the crown paints sponsor is just iconic. It’s also a rare size XL (modern large) So I could wear it to! But I won’t 😄 I love this shirt, thanks again @Mr_Rudy_3

Stupid o’clock start to get the ferry over for the #LFC Wolves game. Should get to see Gakpo’s debut. Shirt choice was easier than expected, the ‘91/92 home is the only thing that fits me after Christmas, so I’ve gone for the ‘91/92 home. Up the reds!

There’s two @FAIreland shirts from the 80s that I’ve always wanted but rare as hen’s teeth. I made my peace with never owning them, then in the space of 2 days this week I managed to pick them both up 🤯 First up, the shirt I won at the auction. Ireland ‘87, likely match worn 🤤

Picked up a load of 90s Liverpool shirts a few weeks back (right) and went back for the rest yesterday. Always preferred the long sleeve versions when I was younger but they weren’t as easily had, so chuffed to be able to get them all these years later. #justfootballshirts
