My stepkids’ mom dropped the kids off, she left before my daughter could give her a hug. My daughter started wailing, because she was putting on pyjamas and wasn’t quick enough to make it down before she left. The kids called their mom to come back and hug my kid. She did. ♥️

It’s my birthday. My girls gave me some lovely gifts this morning. (A citronella candle, a chocolate rose, a number 7 foil balloon… a few other little things, mostly from dollarama or that they found.) All treasures. My girl gave me her “birthday girl” badge to wear today.

I feel weird about parents who film their bullied children in a super vulnerable crying state. It’s nice when strangers rally around a bullied kid, but filming your kid at a super traumatic and vulnerable moment and posting it online is weird.
