33,000 Meath people travel to work in Dublin daily. I recently pressed the NTA on their study saying the Navan line is not viable. This is outdated & uses 8-9am as the peak travel hour. People are on the road before 6am. I’ve invited the NTA to Navan to see & discuss this reality

Great news this morning that @MeathGAA has got the green light to redevelop Páirc Tailteann into a 21,000 seater stadium. This will make the old ground one of the finest in the country. I've sought financial backing from the new Sports Infrastructure Fund to help make this happen

Very proud of my little girl CJ (who also turned 13 yesterday) for raising €1,900 on her 119km walk on the Camino last month. This morning she presented €950 to Navan Meals on Wheels and she will later present another €950 to the Alecmachan Children's Home in Ethiopia.

Tara Mines is one of the most important resources in our county. Today along with @ThomasByrneTD I experienced the amazing work the miners do. We travelled to the deepest spot in Ireland -900 metres underground. We came face to face with the tough conditions workers face daily.

Govt wants to ban cars from town centres to tackle Climate Change & promote public transport. Rail usage is 2.9% & in Navan it's 0% because we have no rail! I asked the Minister over our climate plan is there any chance they might deliver our rail line so we can play our part.
