Bring back Oklahoma vs. Nebraska.
Bring back Texas vs. Texas A&M.
Bring back Kansas vs. Missouri.
Bring back West Virginia vs. Pitt.
Bring back college football.
Tanner Mordecai might not be getting a ton of credit for today's win over Texas, but if I could shake the man's hand I would. When his team needed him to step up and calm things down, he was ready. To me, he deserves as much praise as anybody for that alone. Nothing but respect.
Big 12 Power Rankings after Week 1
1. Oklahoma, obviously.
2. TCU, because Gary.
3. West Virginia, I guess.
4. Oklahoma State, I think?
5. Kansas State, yikes.
6. Baylor, by default.
7. Texas Tech, but ouch.
8. Iowa State, canceled.
9. Kansas, not surprised.
10. Texas, sucks.
Let me get this straight. OU just signed a consensus top 10 recruiting class, added one of the most dynamic QB-OC duos in college football, has an actual S&C coach plus a defensive mastermind running the show, and some of y'all still think the Sooners will take a step back?
LOL
BREAKING: The NCAA has reached a unanimous decision to begin rotating the site of the Women's College World Series between Oklahoma City and Columbus, Georgia starting in 2024. The vote was made to increase fairness across the sport at the Division I level.

Stanford Cardinal pitcher NiJaree Canady is reportedly set to enter the NCAA transfer portal (paperwork will be filed by Monday). The rising junior was named USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year for the 2024 season and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
"I just wanna win at all stages. I wanna win at the high school level, the college level, the USA level. I just wanna win at all the levels."

Lincoln Riley had no killer instinct. The man was too passive to get over the hump. Brent Venables is legitimately terrifying. I mean seriously, the man needs a get-back coach just so he doesn't run onto the field and crack someone's skull. The BOOM is back at Oklahoma.

If you think OU takes a step back next year, I've got some bad news. Jordy Bahl, Rylie Boone, Alyssa Brito, Jayda Coleman, Kierston Deal, Jocelyn Erickson, Kinzie Hansen, Tiare Jennings, Nicole May, Sophia Nugent, Cydney Sanders and Alynah Torres are all set to return in '24.
I don't care if I lose followers for this (because that's a stupid thing to ever care about)
If you think Oklahoma's playoff chances are over, that's stupid.
If you think Oklahoma should fire Alex Grinch, that's stupid.
If you're done with this team, good. You won't be missed.
PLEASE let OU and USC play each other in a bowl game next season. I know it's asking a lot for the Trojans to win more than 6 games, but if by some football miracle that happens, I'm there.
Wow. The scene in downtown Norman is absolutely CRAZY right now! Thousands of OU fans have flooded the streets to celebrate the upcoming announcement of Oklahoma's next head football coach.

College football is better when we have Oklahoma vs. Nebraska, Texas vs. Texas A&M, Florida vs. Miami, West Virginia vs. Pitt, Louisville vs. Cincinnati, and Kansas vs. Missouri.
Picture this: Caleb Williams puts on a dazzling performance tonight, leading the Sooners to victory and earning himself offensive MVP honors. Then, during his acceptance speech, he officially announces that he's staying at OU. Crowd goes wild. Twitter explodes.
Obviously OU will look like a totally different team next season, but a foundation of Cydney Sanders, Ella Parker, Kasidi Pickering, Kierston Deal, Hannah Coor, Maya Bland, Paytn Monticelli, Quincee Lilio, Avery Hodge and SJ Geurin is a solid place to start.
Oklahoma Football is the reason why I signed up for Twitter, and now we're just 10 days away from going on another unpredictable adventure that makes college football the greatest sport on the planet. Where are my fellow

BOOMER!
Rose Bowl plot twist: It's the final play of the game. Baker Mayfield evades a sack and finds Trae Young wide open in the flat. Young splits two defenders and dishes to Shay Knighten for the walk-off homerun. There's confetti flying and flags planting everywhere.
All I know is if my team was coming off a 7-loss season, missed a bowl game, choked away a 21-point lead to its biggest rival and lost to Kansas at home, you wouldn't hear me chirping on this app.

Major sports networks like
@ESPN
need to televise more college softball. And no, not just postseason play, I'm talking games in February and March. These athletes perform at the highest level in stadiums filled to capacity. It's time to give credit where it's due.

I just wanna say thank you to the 2022 OU softball team. I can honestly say that I've never had more fun watching a group of athletes compete than I did while watching you all this season. Getting to experience this run every step of the way has been an absolute treat. Boomer!
