Who else besides me remembers the disastrous 1980 Democratic Convention? The Democrats had an incumbent president (Carter) of their own party in the White House. Instead of supporting him in the convention, they allowed Ted Kennedy to challenge him. As a result, Reagan won.

@ponygirl923 I grew up with the America that taught abstinence only and shamed young women. It didn't stop young people from having sex and it didn't stop young women from getting "in trouble." What hasn't changed is the culture that encourages males to have sexual "conquests."
