I'm opening a secondhand bookshop in Stoke Newington at 213 High St, but we haven't yet been able to decide on a name - any suggestions? So far we have Bookopolis, Book Spines, Abney Books, High Street Books. Anyone got any creative inspiration to help us?

@irratyonal Hi, we won’t be applying immediately but maybe in a few months if it’s busy and/or if I want to go back onto the road sourcing books instead of being behind the counter.

@freddie_poser Before we expand London, let’s take a bulldozer to this low density crap that forms a multi-mile noose around the city and replace it with 6 storey+ mansion blocks, at least any of it within 500m of a metro station

@AaronBastani They’re also getting urbanism right - when to Paris last week and initially thought it was empty compared with London due to how quiet it was, but then realised it because hardly any cars in the centre, just bikes and pedestrians.

@ACAPeckham Back in 2015 I moved to Peckham, but OKR outskirts as not enough housing in centre as even then it was unaffordable. Sure I wouldn’t be able to afford these, but at least those that could wouldn’t be competition for cheaper housing stock if it was built.

@AnyaMartin8 I’m one of them (I even briefly had a blog of urban developments to prove my Yimby credentials). But the reason I want development is due to urbanism. To me London is big enough geographically but should be many times the current density.

@ACAPeckham So why are you opposing the density of this? Peckham is a major town centre and has tower blocks already, this is obviously what is needed to provide homes for the area. A low rise scheme would mean fewer homes and far less social units.
